FS01 110V, 1 HP, Large Pond Floating Fountain, Oil Free Pump 13000 GPH with 100’ Cord, Two Spray Patterns Included

This fountain was easy to assemble by myself, inside my air conditioned house, on the kitchen island (I put down a layer of cardboard to protect the counter surface. My wife liked that idea) so there was no sweating by the pond, with all the parts spread out on the ground. I used a garden cart to carry it down to the pond from the house (but if you have a 12 year+ child, get them to help you carry it). The two 70' guy wires and 100' electric cord make a great anchoring trio. I was able to attach each to a tree instead of using the stakes provided. This provided a very secure placement. It is easy to adjust the placement by tightening and loosening the guy wires. I discovered my pond is about 6' deep in the middle. I secured the guy wires temporarily to nearby trees, waded with the unit into 4' water, then waded back to shore to move the wires to different trees to adjust the position. I didn't use a boat, just waded in creek shoes and jeans. IMPORTANT NOTE: the bottom was muddier and thicker than I anticipated, and if you lose your balance because your weight shifts and you can't move your feet quick enough to maintain your balance in the muck, YOU WILL DROWN IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING TO HANG ON TO. It's a matter of the water being too deep for you to push up from the bottom with your arms. So have a friend with you and DON'T LET GO OF THE FLOATING UNIT if you start to fall; consider bringing a long stick to help you keep or regain your balance. And don't forget the friend! The fountain worked perfectly on the first try, and it was easy to adjust the placement by moving the wires to different trees. The fountain is large and beautiful, and the first day it began improving the water in my pond! I would definitely buy this product again. NOTE: While the directions are common sense, the English was written by someone who was not a native speaker and their spell-checker did not correct the errors, so you will need to read and decipher the directions a couple of times to make sure you understand everything. ALSO, the directions call for a hex Allen wrench. You don't need an Allen wrench; you need two socket wrenches. And it would be a good idea to buy 8 large washers to place on each end of the four bolts that hold the float plate in place. While this might be unnecessary, it is a good idea. ONE MORE NOTE: if you have a magnet on a telescoping rod, bring it with you to the pond. if you drop a metal part in the water, it will be a lot easier to find!

The price was better than most of the others similar fountains to this one. We bought this in early spring and now its the end of November with no problems at all. I looked at the reviews and I noticed some people mentioned there lights went out soon after they purchased the fountain with lights, I almost didn't get the lights due to this. With knowing this I payed attention to the lights while putting it together and could see where the problem was. There is a rubber grommet to keep water out of wiring and lights itself where two of the four were not installed correctly by manufacturer. I fixed that and then to be sure of a seal, I applied silicon on all the wiring joints to be sure I got a good seal. They also give a filter that goes around the water intake that my other fountain did not have and seems to help alot with the algae from clogging the fountain. The water will go high in the air, so we are happy with the look of the fountain. Just an FYI, if you get the lights you will find it more of a pain to get it in and out of the pond but I may complain when I need to do this but worth it.

This is a very well made fountain. It works very well. Looks great at night, quite stunning in fact. The only issue I had were the instructions, which would be difficult to follow for many non mechanically inclined. The explanation and installation of spray pattern nozzle and gasket was not clear. I am extremely mechanically skilled and was able to figure, build and install this quite easily however. You must go to Youtube to learn how to program the timers, not included in the instructions, and even that is not all inclusive, especially how to put it into the auto mode. Another issue, the lights were not working. I took the control box apart and found one wire had fallen out of the connection module, had to use small reg. screwdriver to reinstall, then it worked fine. Not difficult, just had to open the box and see the wire hanging out. Overall, have your handyman(woman) put this together and install. Its well made and works wonderful. Update: after several weeks of using the fountain, my pond is now clearing up nicely. So far so good, it comes on when programmed, looks beautiful (especially with the lights!) and is clearing my pond. All for under a grand! After one year, I did have issues with the lights not working. After I explained the issue and submitting a video to them, within days, they had a new light assembly sent to me and were there to assist me as needed. They truly stand behind their product and act very quickly to resolve, very impressive!

Had an issue with the original pump that was just shy of being out of warranty. Service department was helpful in diagnosing the problem and sent out a new pump. Received a new pump in just a few days and fountain is up and running again. Although this is just a 1/2 hp pump it a great foutain and uses 1/3 the electricity, I run the fountain 24 hrs a day so efficiency was important.

Have been using this large pond fountain for two years now and it has been working flawlessly. I remove this fountain every winter because we get freezing temperatures in winter. Its weight and size are manageable and its stability in the water is perfect. We have not lost any fish due low oxygen levels in the water due to pour water flow. Assembly is easy and kit includes everything you need to install in your body of water.

Fountain works great, light kit went out and Asurion has ghosted me for the warranty replacement. I understand it’s not the manufacturer’s problem but maybe they’ll see this and get Asurion to stand behind their warranty and send a new light kit. It’s a 5 star fountain.

Hook up and try on work bench before installing. Installed on lake fountain that's already in lake and found out the Blue and White lights did not work. Had to uninstall and return. The second set I ordered did work as it should. The lenses on two of the lights were loose and needed to be tighten to prevent water getting inside fixture. They are not as bright as my old set that went bad (9 years old) , but they do the job.

Beautiful fountain. Super easy to put together. You might need 2-3 people to help get it down to the pond and help position it after it’s in. Absolutely love it!
