Really strong magnetic mount, i've tested this to 75mph, didn't move, however, i didn't really buy it to attach to a car, more so to mount on metal posts etc.

I had been looking for something similar for my Alps road trip for quite a while and Neewer delivered just in time.Weighted, yet light featuring quality materials.As soon as I held the mount 5-10CM away from my car I felt an instant pull. After it was attached it was a struggle to move, I gave it a wiggle test back and forth with my go pro 11 attached and it would not budge without a decent bit of force behind it.I took it for a spin on the roof of my car reaching speeds up to 50MPH without issue. I also performed some Torque pulls to see if that would rock the mount back and forth and yet again to my amazement, it did not move.Weather conditions for this test were dry and sunny, with some wind.I will update this review on my next test of speeds up to 70MPH.I recommend cleaning the surface of your car before attaching the mount to prevent light scratches.

The kit comes in a nice box with cut outs for well machined parts. Stuck to the door very well. There is no mobile phone mount, but looking closely it said there wasn't. About 1mm of play in the quick release, but I'm not worried, could fill if needed.Took to 30mph over bumps and hills, held firm. I tested off the beaten track and on a flat piece of the car door. I'm confident to take it on the road after that test. It is definitely the right choice. I'd have liked it sub £50 but the build quality and peace of mind is worth it.

Neewer Magnetic Camera Mount does the trick perfectly and has a really strong magnet for holding in place which of course is something that is a must yet this is super easy to remove from said locations.Got this as a camera mount for timelapses and works wonders overall can be modified/adjusted to only use 1 of the magnet cups with the included tools which personally I think for action cameras it does only need the one two is best suited for traditional cameras holds both really well except I wouldn't use a camera such as my Sony A7 with lenses attached for this.Very well made mount with limitations of people who are going to use this being probably quite high but works wonders overall do reckon it could be slightly cheaper in my opinion but I'm happy with this overall would recommend and would highly recommend if into car cinematography as you'll get some unreal shots with this.

This Magnetic Action Camera Mount arrives in a plain, Neewer branded, cardboard box. Inside the box is the magnetic mount itself, an action camera mount adapter, a 1/4"-20 screw adapter, an L shaped hex key, a wrench, a safety tether and a User Manual.As you would hope for a product designed to hold a camera on the side of a car, the build quality of this mount is very good and it has a good finish throughout. The magnets are strong and live up to their claims of holding 2kg (I tested up to 2.3kg and it still held solid), whilst still remaining fairly easy to remove the mount when you need to.The included wench and hex keys allows you to quickly and easily convert the mount from using two suctions cups, to just one, depending on your needs.The two ball head joints in the ‘magic arm’ section of the mount are tightened using a single wingnut screw, that’s large enough to tighten even if you are wearing gloves. As a result of using just the single screw, it can be a little fiddly to line everything up, but given the short length of the arm, I can understand why they went with one screw, instead of one at each end.The quick release plate system works well and is extremely handy as it allows you to quickly and easily remove your camera without having to remove the whole mount. Better still, two quick release plates are included. One with a standard action camera mount and one with a 1/4”-20 screw thread. Including two different mount styles allows you to attach a much wider range of equipment to the magnetic mount, and to quickly and easily swap between two different devices/equipment.A nice touch is the inclusion of a safety tether, so that you can attach your equipment to your car and have the reassurance that you won’t loose it should the mount get knocked off for any reason.In conclusion, this is a well made, rugged, magnetic action camera mount that not only works well but gives you the reassurance needed to attach an expensive camera to your vehicle in the first place.~ Amazon asked me to review this product and to give my honest and impartial opinion about it. Good holder and good range of adjustability.I replaced the stock magnetic mounts with larger ones, for shooting at higher vehicle speeds or in windy conditions. The stock ones were adequate too, but I wanted additional piece of mind, so I upgraded with some leftover light bar magnets.Overall 4/5 because I wish it came with usable tether; I had to get one on my own.

I finally got to use this yesterday by mounting my GoPro onto it and then setting it on either the hood or the roof of my car for a video project that's been in the works for quite a while, gathering historical photos and such and began the production yesterday by shooting in the area.The mount's magnetic base is very strong, but not difficult to remove and the clamp works fantastic. It comes with the 4/20 standard screw mount for most cameras and the GoPro mount on a quick release plate, one for each. The base has 2 magnetic plates covered in a non marring material so safe on paint. Many of the higher end mounts often have 3.This is not my first product from Neewer. I have 2 others, one a mic arm for my JL Labs VO mic and the Neewer Neutral Density/polarizer filters for the GoPro and they all are well made. The mic arm clamps solidly to the desk, as some inexpensive arms have poor clamps and the Neewer optics for the ND filters are good and are well made and the frames are metal.They all perform well. The only thing is I notice a slight shake when idling and is noticed in the reflection of the blank back screen when the camera is on the car hood but holds well when driving and the resulting footage is really good.This is due to the car being a 4 cylinder car with the AC on. Otherwise it did wonderfully.It appears well made, the clamp is very effective and overall a well designed product.

Klasse Produkt, würde ich immer wieder kaufen. Die Magnete sind stark und halten wirklich klasse.

I use this for travel baseball, and before this mount, I used to carry a wire fence mount, a wire fence clip, a tripod and a small tripod to mount on top of the dugout as a last resort. After 30 games, this is the ONLY mount I have used this year. There is always a metal pole, fence or structure to mount the camera (Mevo). I have sent the link to this mount to at least 10 people from other teams.
