Once again, Ryan Green ramps up the terror in this tale of the Australian serial killer.By getting into the mind of the killer, Green also gets into the reader’s mind, taking us on a roller-coaster we can’t jump off. And I love the psychological aspect of Ryan's Green's books.As is so often the case, Ivan Milat grew up in an abusive and dysfunctional home. After a promising start to his marriage, when he began to increasingly abuse his wife, she left him. It is at this time that Milat’s crimes escalated and he murdered an enormous number of male and female hitchhikers in horrifically brutal ways.

I was lucky to receive a preview copy of this book on Kindle and I read it in one seating. The time flew past and didn't realise that it was 2.30 in the morning when I finished!Ryan is one of my favourite authors and so have read a great number of his books.He has definitely not lost his touch in this story, from describing the little details and then going on to describe the brutal subject matter in such a way that it doesn't make you want to put the book down.Top Marks Again For Ryan!!!

I am quite an avid true crime fan, and know a lot about crimes and criminals that have committed them, as such, I knew about Ivan Milat.However, Ryan Green always adds an in depth back story and a tale to go along with it, without it ever seeming convoluted, which gives a whole new insight into a quite prolific case, and keeps it interesting, letting you feel like you’ve gotten to know the perpetrator and hooks you in with graphic details and incredible descriptions.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this book, I watched the films telling the story of Ivan Milan but the book was incredible, the details that obviously cannot be put into films was outstanding.A very disturbing and vile man.

another excellent crime book from ryan green whom is fast becoming my hero. he writes what other people are afraid of getting into. hard to believe these insane murderers are among us all. when i think of the times i have hitch hiked it makes me shudder. we all think we are invincable until someone like ivan milat comes along. a truly insane murderer. what a sad world we live in. thanks to ryan green for reminding us all that no one truly safe.

Another great book from Ryan Green, I was anticipating that it would be the same stuff rehashed, but was pleasantly gripped with the in-depth background of Ivan Milat & his brothers. Well worth a read for avid true crime addicts. You will definitely get a different perspective on the man.
