The build quality is very good and it is sturdy, as it is made of aluminium alloy. Looks very nice. Movement is smooth and the grip is reliable. It us very stable. It fits very well as I could attach the IPad in landscape as well as portable mode. I could also attach my Samsung Fold phone. One can attach most phones in portrait mode but not in landscape mode although you could attach in portrait mode and rotate to see in lanscape mode if your have a proper mount for this holder. Good performance. However, it is a bit expensive. I decided to spend the amount because I did not want to take any risk with my Ipad.

This works well and holds my iPad firmly, even in a very strong wind. It extends on its stem and then extends further by pulling a strong spring. My iPad (in its cover) is 254mm greatest dimension and fits comfortably. The clamping lugs are deep enough to accommodate iPad+ cover,.

This is a really nice iPad stand! Pros: - Build Quality: Metal build and it expands and contracts smoothly to offer wide compatibility with any size iPad. There is a nice rubber strip that protects the back of your device from getting scratched as well. And the spring tightness of the clamp that holds the iPad is just right - it's not too tight to pull out and place your device inside, but it is tight enough to keep it securely in place. I didn't use the cold shoe mounts, but it's nice to have options! - Several mounting options. I've successfully mounted it on an ARCA receiving plate and I'm sure it would work just as well with a 3/8 or 1/4-20 mount. - Stability: I mounted my 13-inch iPad Pro vertically in landscape and used it as a video monitor for my camera. My iPad was tilted slightly forward - something that I normally wouldn't do, but this mount held it securely enough for me to feel comfortable with that setup. Cons: - None for my setup/workflow! Highly recommend this iPad stand if you want something sturdy and reliable!

Finally, a product advertised as 12.9 inches total length, is actually that long fully extended. Bought two othet similar mounts and returned because of incorrect measurements. Anyways, I attached two L-brackets to the top and bottom of the mount, and voila, I have a mount that can fit a model y screen console. Now I can mount my MagSafe phone to it with the guarantee that it won't fall. The product is well made, and seems to be sturdy. The only malfunction that I can see happening if you're going to be constantly adding or removing your tablet, is the mount's spring loaded feature that provides its tight grip. Personally, I would have preferred a screw-type adjustment to adjust grip strength to reduce the likely hood of failure. Other than that, it's an awesome mount for the price.

This tripod mount is GREAT! I use it to hold my iPad Pro 12.9 in. for looking at reference images when I'm painting and for shooting video with the iPad or my phone. (Yes, it works for my phone as well.) My particular tripod has a removable base plate that easily screws into the bottom of the of the tripod mount and then clips securely onto the ball head on the tripod (see video). The whole set up is very solid and I can rotate the iPad or phone to any angle needed without worrying that my expensive electronics are going to come off and crash to the ground. I love that the mount is metal and not cheap plastic. Highly recommend!

This is probably the best designed tablet holder avaliable right now. Firstly it opens vary wide allowing for a portrait hold of larger tablets which few of these aluminum holders do. This little holder has a surprising amount of heft to it... in a good way, its much more heavy duty feeling then pictures/videos can show. This thing has a rock solid lock up! The spring loaded top ensures constant tension is held on your tablet/phone, much better then the adjustable tension style on others. The button lock up system is the best I've seen. The slide and latch system works way better then any others I've tried. Save yourself the hassle and money of going through multiple holders like so many of us do and just get yourself this one, you won't be disappointed. The shoe attechment doesn't look so bad in person. It has a Allen key screw holding it on which allows you to loosen it and turn it freely... with the shoes attachment slot facing away from view, it's actually fairly cleam looking. The one thing I'd change is the color. Although the pewter color looks nice, I personally would've preferred black simlly so it would match my tablet stand setup that much better... which is black and red. Black, red, blue, pewter etc I think it would be cool and wise if they offered a selection of colors... hopefully its something they consider in the future. Bottom-line this is the only tablet holder worth purchasing imo, id absolutely recommend it.
