I bought this to put at my parents house for when I visit. Its not a very fast charger since it only outputs 16amps, but I knew that when I bought. It requires 220v so you can't plug it in to a "regular" receptacle that you have all throughout your house. You will need an electrician to run a circuit and install the correct receptacle for you to use this charger. The quality of the cord seems fine. Its durable for normal use, but I would avoid running it over since that may pinch the wires inside and could cause a short which is bad. Overall i am satisfied with the product, it serves its purpose.

I didn’t know what to expect with this charger but I had a need for a travel charger when we took family trips and didn’t have a supercharger close by. Took this on a trip to my in laws and a family ski trip at a airbnb in a remote location. Plugging this in overnight provided a slow trickle that worked amazingly . It saved me the huge hassle of having to run around to find a charging station and sitting with it till it was charged. I should’ve opted for the Level 2 that plugs into the dryer outlet but only because a place I was staying had that available. But this works great if you’re parking your car overnight somewhere.

Useful cable for recharging my Prius Prime on the go. Cord from the electronics module to the plug-in is a bit short, so I needed an extender. Cable is well made with fewer joints to fail than its predecessor.

I recently purchased this charging station with high hopes, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations.Cons:- Despite the advertised claims, this charger was not delivering the promised 50 amps. Instead, it only charged at 9kWh, which is a significant letdown.- The build quality of the product left much to be desired. It felt flimsy and cheap, which raised concerns about its durability and long-term reliability.Pros:- On a positive note, the charging cables were impressively long and appeared to be heavy-duty, providing some reassurance in an otherwise disappointing purchase.In summary, I was left disappointed by this charging station. It didn't deliver the charging capacity it promised, and the cheap build quality raised concerns about its longevity. The only redeeming quality was the long and robust cables, but they couldn't make up for the overall shortcomings of this product.

using for a tesla. was abke to plug in to an existing 220volt outlet. works great. gets me the 40 amps, around 9kwh, which js good for 28 miles per hour. don’t need a fancy, smart charger for tesla as the tesla app has all the control and info. by far the best value for a charger at the price. i paid 188$

My original cable stopped working. I was looking for a new one and the prices seem to have come down. This cable is made well and my charging times seem better.

This charger is very simple but works amazingly. Comes with a 6-20 wall charger and a standard 3 pronged outlet as well. It charges up to 16A, (which usually for me equates to 16 miles an hour). I only charge to 80% so that is very efficient for overnight use. Make sure if you do have a Tesla, that you use the adaptor and if you don’t have one, you’ll need to get it. I have two cars in my garage so the extended length of the cable is perfect for my situation. Also comes with a travel organizer for the charger to come with you on travels. No extra bellls and whistles, but I feel they are not really needed. If you want something that works fine and charges your car, with no install fees, then this is a perfect solution.

The best I can get is 6kw into my battery from a 14-50 outlet. Assuming a 90% efficiency for the 240 volt charging, I should be putting in about 6600 watts. My Electric meter says 6800 with some other things running, so that's pretty good efficiency, except is like to see the full 40 amps 9600 watts)!I love being able to limit the charger to 10 amps because my off- grid solar can run that, although something in that setup is consuming about 3400 watts of power to charge at 2kw, and sucks on my batteries a bit to do that. I suspect my 5kw low frequency inverter is not as efficient as it's suppoaed to be...

Funciona bien, carga relativamente a buena velocidad, casi no se calienta, en 18 h carga casi el 50% de mi auto, sirve para BYD Yuan/atto plus obviamente con su adaptador y te saca de apuros :) Recomendado en México.PD. Para protección de mi auto y el cargador si puse una instalación con una pastilla de 20 Amp y un calibre de 10 a 12 directo de mi medidor. Solo por seguridad extra

Muy ligero, de gran extensión y no se ocupa que el contacto esté aterrizado a Tierra.
