Brass Ball Valve Shower Head Shut-Off Valve Shower Arm Volume Control Valve with 1/2-Inch Female and Male Pipe Thread Nickel Finish

Fitted this to the shower head. Make sure you have enough rubber o-rings to get a good seal when fitting. It's not designed to look pretty and it doesn't but it does work very well. Why did I need it: The shower runs off of an on-demand boiler and the shower mixer was badly chosen, providing a single axis control ranging from max hot to max cold. As it's on demand heating, the faster the water flow the cooler the hot water and there is a minimum flow required before the water is heated at all. So a single axis control is dreadful, providing a temperature range of barely warm to ice cold. By using this valve to reduce the flow rate, I get hotter water. A cheap solution until a bathroom refit fixes it properly.

This is a good quality item, feels and looks robust and well designed and executed, and I'm not expecting problems with it.

J'ai inséré cette vanne entre le mitigeur et le flexible de douche afin d'empêcher l'ensemble de goutter sans avoir à fermer les robinets du mitigeur en les serrant à mort. Non seulement cette vanne s'avère efficace, mais en plus, elle est si étanche que je peux même me permettre de laisser les robinets ouverts !

Utilisé comme stop douche. Efficace et solide !

Pour ma seconde Valve- j'ai un problème mais sa fonctionne parfaitement. Le Robinet est fermé vers le Mur alors que la 1ere Valve commander est fermé vers moi ce qui est mieux. Je chipote mais c'est mieux de fermer un Robinet vers soi. Parfaitement emballer triple boite plus sachets de protection, je regarde le stop douche et je m’aperçois qu'il est fait d'une seule pièce, je regarde le trou et ne vois aucune pièce mobile ?? Comment peut on tourner la valve ?? Têtue, je suis, j'essaye et ça tourne et du coup le trou est bouché!! C'est bien un stop douche !!

J'ai acheté cette vanne d'arrêt pour une robinetterie usagée qui laisse passer un filet d'eau qui fini par me coûter cher en eau et électricité. Le propriétaire ne voulant pas changer la robinetterie, j'ai décidé d'utiliser ce système et cela fonctionne car je ne constate plus de perte d'eau dan la douche. J'espère que cela durera, cette vanne me semble solide.
