Harrison Howard Trail Seat Saver, Ride-on Western Saddle Pad

Makes riding very comfortable! We have an old Big Horn saddle, 17" seat. Saddle is still going strong, except for the padding in the seat. This was good looking as soon as we unboxed it. You could see the quality. Made all the difference in our old saddle. Very cushy and stays put. I read the reviews about the pad not being thick enough, but I have to disagree. The thickness is perfect.

I took riding lessons over the summer to refamiliarize myself with horses and riding after a 15+ year hiatus, and this cushion was a godsend! It's easy to slip on the saddle, doesn't slip while riding, and it's just thick enough to offer relief but doesn't wash out the shape of the saddle seat. I highly recommend this seat pad if you have a hard seat or just need a little extra padding like me.

The cushion helps some however it comes off frequently and very easily when getting on or off. The cushion seems to be durable.

Saddle received quickly and is a high quality product. It fits my horse very well and is comfortable for me. I’m having some difficulty adjusting to the large stirrups. The mechanism to adjust the stirrups were VERY hard to use. I needed to use a screwdriver to help the process. Not happy with this mechanism. Otherwise I love the workmanship, quality and comfort of this saddle for a great price. I’ll work with the stirrups.

Works great to protect my bone soreness while riding. Makes it much easier for me to ride for longer periods of time.

This is a great pad! Didn’t slip one bit even after climbing up and down steep Hills. I wouldn’t say it was the most cushiony ride, but at the same time, my sit bones do not hurt one single bit after a six hour ride yesterday. I love the material, your tush doesn’t slide around. Nor does anything slide off the saddle. This is a great buy.

Es terrible que compras un color y te mandan el que quieren. Me arrepiento de haber escogido este sobre el de weaver leather. Lo conserve porque me urgía, pero ya pedí el que debí haber pedido desde el inicio. Y no, no hace mucha diferencia en el asiento. Como dije, debi haberme ido por la marca que nunca me falla...

Used this saddle seat saver for the first time yesterday and it was great. Totally eliminated the friction sores I had been experiencing. Very happy. Made my ride much more enjoyable.
