Made by Nacho Premium Wet Cat Food Grain-Free Pate Cans, 12 Pack, (Chicken, Salmon, and Turkey) (Pate Variety Pack, 5.5 Ounce), Limited Ingredients

My cats absolutely loved this Nacho brand food, all three flavors! I work with animals so I dish out A LOT of canned cat food, and this was exactly as I had hoped for. It's very meaty with a lot of juices, is soft and has a good texture, and smells meaty. I've dished out other brands that are mealy, dry, or had no smell. I also like that it's high quality ingredients. I do have one wish, that only one of the three flavors had fish (but two of the three have fish). I can't seem to purchase only the turkey so I bought the case of three, but luckily my cats liked all three flavors. I just don't want them to have too much fish as it can be high in phosphorus. Still, I will be purchasing more as my cats love it, and I already supplement with other non-fish brands/flavors.

Great ingredients and trusted brand

The main problem that people seem to be having with the Nacho wet food is dented cans. I've ordered 4, 12 cans of 5.5 ounce, and only about 3 have been lightly dented. And my cat has pretty much gobbled up each flavor.

2 things about my cat. He’s not a picky eater and he LOVES wet food. He ate it the first time I served it to him. Second time, he left it without touching it. I tried a third time, and he threw up while eating it. I don’t think it’s a texture thing because I always mix his pate with water to give him more hydration and he loves it. Also, some of the cans had an unknown sticky substance on them. They weren’t opened up, but were somehow sticky. Something isn’t right about this food. I wouldn’t feed this to your cat. I’m unfortunately throwing out the whole box.

The media could not be loaded. One of my cats has needed to change foods a few times recently because of some health issues (hypercalcemia). She had gotten very picky and now also needs higher quality foods.These cans fit her diet, are an EXCELLENT value for the money (they’re huge vs normal cans), and she absolutely gobbles them down (see video!). She doesn’t normally love pate but this has some good chunks and liquid.(In video you’ll see grey stuff - thats chia mixed in as part of her diet / treatment, not the food.)

My kitty and I love Nacho. However, it appeared our product was reused from another order, and had someone else's return shipping label on it. Fine, no biggie. But..... the box itself looked like it had been through hell and all the cans were dented. For anyone that isn't aware, bacteria can grow in dented cans and cause death, in some cases. One can would be acceptable but literally every can was damaged.Because this is a non-returnable item, I didn't have the option of replacing or asking for reimbursement in the app. I was able to call customer service and get reimbursed. Heads up to someone purchasing a non-returnable item. It was an inconvenience but I'm satisfied with the amazon customer service.Disappointed that Nacho would approve such a package. Especially, when their brand specializes in providing quality products and ingredients for our kitties to live longer/healthier lives.

However, the less-than-ideal texture, lack of transparency in ingredient quality, and relatively high cost make it fall short of being a standout option in the competitive market of wet cat food.

I've been feeding my cat Gracie Made by Nacho since 11/2023 she loves this wet food and the dry food. I mix her medicine in the wet food every morning, she only gets this once a day. I have her food dishes up on one of her tree climber to keep the dog out of her food. The Best Food for your Cats.
