This one has a gentle lather but gives a much deeper clean, and their hair and scalp feel truly fresh afterward—no lingering chlorine scent, sweat, or product build‑up. I like that it uses green kaolin cleansing clay plus plant‑based ingredients rather than harsh sulfates, so it doesn’t leave their hair stripped or squeaky. Their hair actually feels softer and lighter after washing, and it’s easier to comb through with less frizz once it’s dry. The scent is kid‑friendly but not overpowering, and it has worked well on both straight and wavy hair types in our house. I also appreciate that it’s clean, vegan, and dermatologist‑tested for kids’ more sensitive scalps. The bottle is on the pricier side compared to basic kids’ shampoo, but since we mainly use it on heavy swim or sports days, it lasts a while and feels worth it for the extra detox and gentler ingredients. Overall, it’s become our go‑to after pool and practice nights.

Pros: I'd heard great things about Evereden Kids Travel Size After Swim & Sports Shampoo and was interested in trying it since my daughter swims and gets her hair damaged by chlorine. The travel size is perfect for our situation because we keep a toiletry bag in the shower and don't have much space, so having a smaller 1 fl oz bottle is really helpful. The Evereden Kids Travel Size After Swim & Sports Shampoo does seem to work for clarifying and removing buildup from chlorine, sweat, and dirt. It has kaolin clay and provitamin B5 which are designed to reduce excess oil while maintaining moisture. The product feels like a liquid clay and seems to be doing what it's supposed to do in terms of addressing the chlorine issue. Cons: My daughter has fine, thin, straight hair and after using the Evereden Kids Travel Size After Swim & Sports Shampoo, her hair felt very dry. I had to follow up with a thicker conditioner to make sure her hair wasn't overly dry. The Evereden Kids Travel Size After Swim & Sports Shampoo is quite stripping, which means I can only use it about 1 to 2 times a month instead of weekly even though she swims weekly. Because the shampoo strips away so much, it probably leaves her hair cuticles more exposed than necessary. For kids with naturally fine or dry hair, this product needs to be paired with a heavy conditioner and used sparingly rather than as a regular weekly shampoo, which limits how much I can actually benefit from the clarifying properties of the Evereden Kids Travel Size After Swim & Sports Shampoo.

This shampoo helped remove the “green tint” from both my daughter’s bleach blonde hair that turned green from chlorine. The smell is awesome too!

My daughter has swimming 3 times a week. This shampoo smells good, not very strong, foaming well. So far so good
