Everyone should have one of these.
Fantastic. Really. Ignore the “..but it falls over” and “..but i hear a hiss sometimes” videos. If you have any experience w guitar amps, effects, tone in general you will find this thing perfect for practice and even jamming - get a wireless setup for another $50 or so (joyo for example) and/or run around with it attached to you. It is great and with the included app - ai jams, tone cloud, pedal models - it is a steal.

Great little Amp! Amazing sound quality, battery life, mixer options.
I have a travel guitar that, I used to use a lot but the honey tone amp ate batteries, the set up breakdown time was annoying and the sound quantity disappointing, so I mostly stopped using it. I ordered this amp with low expectations but after playing with it I couldn’t wait to endorse it: I love this amp! Great sound, great build quality nice and compact. The app has one common feature I don’t Ike but is very powerful. Feature I don’t like: different amps and mixers are skeuomorphic forcing you to interact with pictures of physical Amps. Feature I love: you can play a track and have the app lift the guitar settings an apply them to your guitar. Volume is surprisingly strong and clean and distortion free. By far the best electric guitar accessory I’ve gotten in years. One physical complaint. I wish there was a way to have a rigid connection the the guitar. I bought a male male amp adapter hoping I can attach the amp right to the amp port (although this will face the speaker towards me rather than out). Ps - also doubles as a high quality Bluetooth speaker.

Love this thing.
Love this thing. Saw youtube videos from 3yrs ago complaining about connection issues and firmware updates. Mine connects fine so far, and I just went with the firmware it already has, as it works amazing as is. I just use it to practice out in my yard and the sound is perfect for that. Do not expect hi fi. Put it on a 'Hendrix' setting and it sounded better than what I get out of my amps-as I just don't get involved with pedal or amp tweeking-I've just set them and play as is as their intricacies just don't interest me. I want to spend time playing. This thing though added that slap back or momentary echo after hitting a chord and was just...perfect. It was a lo fi mini version, so SOUND is not better than my amps, but the vibe was just so fun and a surprise from this little thing. Glad I got it. So far, so easy.

Knocked it out of the park
This pocket-sized guitar amp is seriously, ridiculously good for the money. I've owned a number of amps including modeling amps, tube amps, solid state, etc. It can take a lot of tinkering to get the sound out of them that you want. I mostly want a nice clean sound without too much reverb or a hard driven fuzzy sound like that of Clapton when strumming in overdrive. Let's start with the sound output: It's *really* good for its size. No audible distortion even when the volume is at max and some of the drive pedals push it beyond its normal volume. Great bass, too. Modeling abilities: Infinitely customizable. The community is also enormous. So many people have contributed great amp/pedal combos so that you do not have to start from scratch. Just find one that's close to what you want and modify from there. The preset buttons are awesome, too. Bluetooth: This thing works as both a BLE device and bluetooth audio device, and has separate hardware output volume controls for EACH. That's so, so good. You can play built-in backing tracks, AI backing tracks, or your own music and control the volume directly on the speaker alongside your volume knob for the guitar itself. Wants? Ideally, I'd love a dedicated button to toggle overdrive and clean (or any two pedal configurations of your choice). I suppose that you could do this with the hardware presets, but then you'd have to occupy all 4 of them with 2 different models in order to reliably switch back and forth at the touch of a button. For reference, I'm playing on a well-set-up Fender American Professional II Stratocaster. It's rare to see such a small amp do such an expensive guitar justice, but I am immensely surprised. This is my new go-to practice amp for my office.

Must have
I love this speaker. Great sound and value. You can take it everywhere and keep it in a small apartment. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and plays your music and the music from the phone together. You can download and customize the effects. It makes playing and practicing even more fun.

Nifty Little Gadget
Just to flex my street cred (kidding), I've played guitar for 25 years and have several amps ranging from tubed half stacks to smaller, lo-watt combos, to a couple other battery powered amps because they're fun to play even after the neighbors go to bed. This is my first experience with a Positive Grid product and so far the impressions are good. I purchased the Spark Go to dip my toe into the world of Spark. The price is really good for what you get. At it's core, the device itself is essentially a bluetooth speaker with a quarter-inch input and 4 memory banks for configurations saved in the app. The app is where the real power is. It's fun to play around with the pedal settings and dial in a sound worthy of the 4 memory slots. I'm still trying to decide. You could theoretically use this without the app, but half the fun is configuring the sounds that make you want to practice and ultimately not have to use the app so much once it's all set up. The UX of the app is pretty okay. Lots of skeuomorphic elements that fans of GarageBand will find familiar. The sound is decent, especially for drives, modulation and delays. Reverb is laughable and barely audible through this speaker. It feels solid and a lovely little piece of kit. I wish there was a drummer built in, but bluetooth makes it easy to stream drumming backing tracks. Time will tell how this amp works down the road. Who knows if they stop supporting the app / device down the road and we all have fancy door-stops. But hopefully this is something... disruptive to an industry that will not be disrupted. The Spark makes it easy to get going and makes practicing more accessible. I'm still messing with the settings more than I'm playing the guitar, but i'll find my stride soon-enough. I would recommend buying this for any guitarist that's half-way tech savvy.

Great amp all around
Amp felt hefty, like in a good way, yet still light enough to carry around. The tone and power was amazing, especially when combined with the choices in the app. So far, I have tested it with both my phone and laptop and the app is compatible with both via bluetooth. Getting this amp has definitely made me pick up my guitar more often. I only wish they would also make a laptop version of the app.

Best Practice Amp. Nothing else comes remotely close
Nothing beats this. In all ways you can think of. Price for the product is absolutely awesome. Its so conveniently portable. Easy to hook up. Want to show off at a party? This thing fits in your pocket. I could list so many things Ive done with this little amp my review would end up a novel. Get the thing. If you are looking for a practice amp you can jam woth, has a tuner, a plethora of community made amp tones, AI made amp tones, AI drummer to jam with... seriously I could go on for days. Buy it. If you arent satisfied with it Ill pay for your refund myself😂

Sets the standard for mini practice amps
The wow factor of this is the amp and effects unit. It does what it's supposed to, which is make your guitar sound fantastic. The phone app is easy to use and includes a nice tuner feature as well as a massive selection of effects. The sound through headphones is incredible and it's really a perfect headphone practice box, though it does have a decent speaker. Spark will tell you all about the AI features, and the ability to play backing tracks, and that works well, but we wary ... some of the features come with an extra cost. The audio reproduction from this tiny amp+speaker is very good. Volume is great for the size and the quality is decent. It's not directly comparable to an Apple speaker or similar as it's not attempting 3D sound - it's just a good mono speaker. I've had a few devices like this, and none of them sounded as good, either through headphones, on built-in speaker, or into a power-amp. Setup is easy, though the setup guide is poorly presented. It comes with two face plates so you can have fabric look or black, and a choice of straps. Everything feels rugged, solid and robust, no loose plastic or cheap controls. The base is rubberized to stay put and damp any rattles from sitting on a desk or floor. If I have one tiny complaint, it's that it can be a little slow to negotiate a bluetooth connection, and you have to manually make the phone-app reconnect each time you power the unit on. Other than that, it punches way above its weight and easily knocks out the "usual" competitors. Spark are the boss of the phone-app-driven amp segment right now. I've heard the Spark 2 and that encouraged me to buy this with confidence. Obviously, these things don't sound quite like a big cabinet plus a high-end valve amp, but they are eerily good for the size and money.

Portable & loaded with wonderful features
Powerhouse of a practice amp. The wonderful features aside just the portability makes it so easy to play anywhere and anytime! The tones are surprisingly good for something so small

Good, but manage your expectations
I have a Spark 40, which I used to bring to the jam sessions in a rehearsal studio. However, I was looking for something more portable, that is why I considered the SparkGo. Now I can just take the super portable SparkGo with me and have similar benefits. It can work well as a Bluetooth speaker, but it's not the best. My Bose is better. It can also work as a home rehearsal mini amp, but with limited expectations. Not bad, but not awesome. My Spark 40 is very powerful, but the sound is a bit muddy. Since I usually play with headphones, it's perfect, with great sound.
