This is the first time I've ever purchased safety eyes because I've never crocheted little critters before. These are very easy to use. I found the backs a little tough to get on but once you do, the backs are not coming off which is what you want. The only disappointment I can see so far is that the white eyes are mostly deformed or not round. I love the different colors and sizes. I haven't used a nose yet, but I love that they have those too. I definitely recommend this product.

These are cute. My first time using them and I was surprised how easy they were. Don't waste your money on the pliers/tool for these because you won't need it. The backs pop in with your fingers aand are snug and won't come out.

This was a Christmas present for my grdaughter. She loves the variety and the 820 pieces. She was buying 4 eyes to a package at Hobby Lobby.

These eyes are so cute on knitted characters and there are lots of choices, too. They have a safety clamp for the back that helps them to stay put. (Be advised safety eyes are never recommended for toys for children under 3.)

So for the price and the amount you get, I guess you can't expect perfection BUT I was hoping for most of the colored eyes to be usable, but they aren't unless you're going for a very cross eyed look. Almost none of them are straight or centered. And many have little sharp bits around the edges that need to be trimmed.The solid black button eyes are mostly okay, some have a thin sharp rim around them from the production process but you can trim that off easy enough.And several of the little clear washers had slits in them making them completely unusable.3 stars because I was able to use most of the black eyes and all the noses were perfect. While disappointing, it wasn't a total waste of money but in the future I'll probably avoid colored eyes.
