There have been mixed reviews and I was skeptical about ordering but I'm glad I did. They have a good magnification. I dont know why people print books with 8 font for people in graduate school. They know we have bad eyes! But this has helped tremendously. I originally wished it was larger so I didnt have to scan the page with it, but it fits nicely, size wise, into any book so now it is also a bookmark! I never have to look for it!

These are great for magnifying a large area. Just keep in mind that when you have them laying flat, they don't magnify at all, so when I am using them for Mahjong, I have to lift it to check the line I am playing, but that is what I want... I don't want other players to know what line I am playing, which is what I do not like about the line finders. I do wish the Len's was 100% clear vs having fine lines, and that's the only reason I gave this a 4 vs. a 5 star. If there was a 4.5 option, I'd do that, but I can see this being useful in many other ways, and may be buying more so I can have one in other rooms vs just in my Mahjong bag

It came with a defect in the lens. Looks like a bubble. The image around the bubble is wavy and distorted like a "fun house" mirror.

I bought this to help me read my bible better. As you get older, your vision doesn’t improve. This is light weight and fits easily within the pages you are reading. I gave the extras to my friends in church. A+ rating

These do not work ! You have to hold it away from the page for it to magnify and continuously move it to see the entire page which is very uncomfortable.
