After going through several bottles of Rocco and Roxie, I desperately tried this, and lo and behold - IT WORKED! Holy cow, I'm going to keep a stash of this! I have a neurotic rescue cat who chooses not to use the litter box some times and we have cleaned and enzymed and steam cleaned about 10 times and there was still a funky scent. To be honest the R&R smells so bad that we weren't sure what evil combination of smells we were smelling...anyway - this stuff, the UrineOff, was immediately effective - as in, you could tell as soon as you put it down that it was working and it smells great!! It smells clean and fresh, and there is NO odor of cat pee left. I wouldn't have believed it after spending almost 100$ on repeated bottles of the R&R failing and stinking so badly. I will say that like the R&R, you may have to do repeated rounds. Here is the best way I've found to use any of these enzyme cleaners. After soaking up any urine with papertowels (if it's fresh), soak, and I mean SOAK the area with the UrineOff. I poured it directly on large areas for the first round, but changed to the stream setting on a sprayer for the next 3 rounds. Directions say NOT to scrub, but I did pat down the carpet once it was soaked to make sure it soaked all the way in. At first I mass treated a broad area to get any urine that had spread out from the original spot. I used a water mister to keep the area wet since the enzymes work as long as it's moist and stop when it dries up. I'd do one or two treatments to the carpet per day (working remote now helps). For the third and fourth rounds, I literally got down and stuck my nose a half inch from the carpet and did the ol smell test to locate any last hard hit spots. I have a UV light to help ID new spots, but once you start enzyme treatments, urine won't show up with UV because it's down deeper in the carpet, so get yer nose in it (well, close to it, not IN it..)! So the last 2 rounds (3&4) were spot treatment only for the corner of the living room that she chose and that I did 2 'broader' applications of the treatment on initially. Let it sit for at least 2 hours or until dry. DO NOT STEAM CLEAN YET if the smell is not all gone or you will just disperse the urine (and the smell) and you will have to go back and do it again but over a larger area! This product does really work well, but you have to commit to the process or you are just wasting money and time. It may take several rounds, in fact, unless you have a tiny kitten that just squirted a little, it probably will take several rounds in whatever area the urine is in. With the R&R - the smell of the enzyme cleaner was so bad it was giving us all headaches and stomachaches. The smell of urine was almost better..... but UrineOff not only works better, it smells about 100000 times better and no headaches or stomach aches. When you're finally done with however many rounds needed - THEN steam clean it. Steam cleaning, even with the resolve pet odor remover product, will only spread around the urine stink if you didn't get it all - I cannot emphasize that enough. With the R&R, I intensely steam cleaned afterwards - in my mind, it had to be working after doing 50 passes with the steamer and then the additional Resolve pet cleaner..... I was wrong. You won't even know it till a day or so later when you're sitting around and the scent hits you like a slightly citrus scented pee train. Blech. Learn from my mistakes! You're welcome! Urine Off works. Roll up your sleeves and get to it. You CAN get rid of cat urine, but you're going to probably have to work for it a bit. Once you're ok with that, you've got it. ;)

good remover. Either the cat urine off or the dog urine off. It like melts the smell and the urine, to where you can vacuum it up once dried and the smell is gone. Def recommend.

We adopted two cats from a rescue shelter, a male first and then a female a couple of days later. They got along okay in the beginning but became more and more jealous of each other. The male had to be the boss of everything...food, toys and attention. The female started getting back at him about two months later by wetting in his favorite hang-out spots on the floor and then on my husband's leather recliner. I tried Nature's Miracle on the carpet first but it didn't work. The smell was still there and she went back and wet on the same spot. After researching online and reading the reviews and tips from other customers, I ordered a gallon of Urine Off For Cats through Amazon, as well as a blacklight from Walmart and a big marinade infuser syringe from Linens N Things. The blacklight found spots we were unaware of, including under the recliner. I took masking tape and marked the area about 6" beyond each spot on the carpet and then marked spots about 4" apart within each circle. I poured about 3 cups of Urine Off into a 4 cup measuring cup to make it easier to draw the solution into the syringe. Then I injected each spot with a full syringe of Urine Off, marking each spot with an X in pen on the masking tape as I went along so I knew where I had already injected. Eventually the tip on the syringe was bending so I found that it was easier to use a big skewer to poke the hole first and then push the syringe into the carpet. When I finished injecting, I then filled a pump sprayer with the solution and saturated the top of the carpet. I covered the spots with plastic garbage bags for 2 days and then allowed them to air dry. For the leather recliner I had to pull the leather covers away from the back of the cushions and spray the leather both inside and out and around the zippers. I injected the cushions with the syringe like I did the carpet and put them in garbage bags. I also put a plastic tarp under the chair and sprayed everywhere the urine may have gone on top and underneath of the chair including any padding and all of the metal and springs. Then I covered it all with plastic bags for 2 days before letting it air dry. Check the cushions to be sure mold doesn't start growing. I removed them from the plastic early. I used a leather conditioner afterwards to restore the pliability to the leather. The metal underneath began to rust in some places, but it came off with WD 40 when we treated the hinges afterwards. I wish I could say I only had to do all of this work once, but I had to repeat it a second time before all of the smell was gone to my sensitive nose. To be fair, the directions say it may take two or more treatments for the smell to be eliminated. Also, I had used the Nature's Miracle on the two small spots I was aware of first which may have made it harder for the Urine Off to work. I'm sure I didn't get down to the subfloor with the Nature's Miracle and I didn't cover it with plastic. In fact, I used a fan on it to dry it faster which I now know is the opposite of what you should do. But because the Urine Off directions said you had to saturate the carpet, the padding and the subfloor below the padding, and also to widen the area that you treat beyond the original spots, I had to buy a 2nd gallon. To repeat the process, I bought a 3rd gallon. But the end result is that we don't smell any urine odor. Only a slight lemony smell of the solution remains. I was able to save our $1800 recliner, but sadly, my husband insisted that our female cat go back to the rescue shelter. I'm sure she will be much better off as an only cat who is queen of her castle just as our boy enjoys being king.

As a decades long cat rescue person, this is the first product I've ever bought and tried that actually REMOVES all the cat urine and its horrifically pungent aroma! Unlike other supposed "enzyme based cleaners" designed to do this, Urineoff does the trick! Even cats with their dramatically heightened sense of smell detect no whiff once this product is used properly. It saves me so much money and time!

Works great in our experience getting cat urine smell. It was on a blanket and we let the blanket soak for a day and then washed. Yay!

First, props to the vendor, Entirely Pets, who have consistently had the lowest price for this product. Orders always arrive within the indicated delivery dates as well. Second & regarding the product itself, having a number of cats, including one that has a urinating problem in the house, has shown to me that the product is a mixed blessing, if you will. It clearly removes the smell of cat urine. However, it has a distinct chemical odour of its own, which may linger for days. Between the two I'll take the chemical odour, but it can be a bit strong, especially if your house is closed up. And I do not believe the product removes/breaks down the urine as much or as well as one might hope as any area that has been treated still appears to be of interest to my cats. My best results are obtained by following the directions precisely. I recommend purchasing a wet/dry vac (five-gallon size is a nice compromise between portability and power) to: (1) extract as much urine out of the carpet/area (perhaps wetting with water first if the stain is not very fresh), (2) pour, not spray, Urine Off onto stain area, extending beyond the stain by at least 50%, (3) let sit for five to seven minutes, (4) vacuum up, and (5) repeat. (I do not recommend applying water to the Urine Off to help pull it up from the stain as that seems to leave a light discolouration on lighter coloured carpet) While I cannot state that I believe this product is the perfect solution, I think it is superior to any other product I have tried over the past few years.

I’ve tried everything nothing else works! Only Urine Off every time! Carpets don’t use anything else. Amazing product! My cat is older and pees when I go away to show me he is mad at me. Grateful for Urine Off🙏

I had the terrible issue of my pet cat going potty on a friend's matching sofa chair. During a move, when we were technically homeless (well not really but it makes a good story), my former friennd volunteered to house us while our other home closed escrow. My darling Jade peed the night we were permanently taking her on the plane. I tried everything to get the scent out and I was still living there temporarily. I tried the normal remedies (vinegar, Dawn, etc.). I took the pillows to a dry cleaner. Finally, I soaked in this solution and washed (cold water), and soaked, and washed the pillows over and over as a test. Then I took them to a dry cleaner and they washed them and they did not smell of urine (the dry cleaner solution did not help). So I had the oversize matching chair disassembled, took the fabric thru the same process of soaking, rinsing, soaking, rinsing and finally cleaning at the cleaner. The chair was reassembled with new foam, and the fabric looked good and the god awful smell of my cute little Jade was gone. I did try some other products but they left a scent. This did work. I did try the CSI light as well but that did not seem to help but did find other stains (not related) on the carpets, etc. Don't give up. Just keep washing and use cold water. Hot water may set the scent. Order it quickly and get to work soaking. And because of this, we are still friends!

Must have product for anyone who has unruly cats who pee everywhere. This is the only product in 7 years that I have seen to actually work and both clean and take the smell out completely.

It works for neutralizing the stink of cat urine, but doesn't seem to dissuade my feline friends from going where they've gone again.
