I am genuinely impressed with this journal. The leather feels thick, soft, and beautifully distressed — not stiff or plasticky like some “vintage style” journals can be. It has that rich, earthy leather scent and a sturdy, high-quality feel in your hands. The wrap closure and key detail give it such a unique, old-world character. The pages are what really surprised me. They have that aged, deckled-edge look that feels authentic and rustic, like something you’d discover in an antique shop. The paper has a warm tone that makes writing feel more intentional and creative. It’s lined, but still keeps that handcrafted aesthetic. For around $30, this journal absolutely delivers on quality and price. It looks far more expensive than it is and would make an incredible gift — or a beautiful addition to your own collection if you love vintage, moody, or artistic stationery. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something that feels special, not mass-produced.

So beautiful and well made.
This is nice. There wasn’t any smell or anything off on mine. The pages do seem a little more fragile than I expected. They feel like the big Chief grade school pads we had when we were in first and second grade - - don’t know if they still make those (I’m 68😜) The leather is nice and it had extra protection on the front edge of the papers to protect it. The leather color is beautiful. The photos show the protection paper for the edges and how the different sections are secured as well as how the book looks closed. I am very happy with this. I didn’t try writing in it yet, plan to buy a quilled Pen and ink to write quotes, expressions and inspirational thoughts in it.

It's a good idea to keep journal stored separately from any other items
Definitely a great journal I'm not sure if the leather is real or not but the quality of the leather is good and hold up. The closure works great on it. The functionality overall is great. There is no bleed through with the paper from page to the other. The cool gives you that old antique look and feel.
