This is a long review but please stick with me. The most important thing you need to know about sulfate free shampoo and conditioner is that you do have to put in a little more effort on cleansing your scalp. I find using a scalp brush works great. I simply lather my hair and work the scalp brush through my hair at the scalp. It feels good and leaves my scalp feeling very clean and looking clean. You can find scalp shampoo brushes on Amazon for good prices. I started using sulfate free shampoo and conditioner because I have suffered from itchy, oily scalp my entire life. My scalp and skin would itch and burn. I'd have red marks on my face after washing my hair. It was horrible. I was using another big name brand of sulfate free shampoo and conditioner but my hair looked and felt like straw. It had no life at all and just looked really bad. But, my scalp wasn't oily, itching and didn't burn so I kept using it thinking the way my skin felt was more important than how my hair looked. My skin was less irritated and itchy as well. One time when I was washing my hair, I felt like there was too much hair in my hands. My entire hands were full of hair. I was not okay with losing so much hair so I started looking for a new brand. I found Monday hair care on Amazon and the reviews were pretty good. I decided to give the moisturizing shampoo and conditioner a try. My hair looked so shiny and luxurious the very first time I used this shampoo and conditioner. It was like using a high end product. My scalp is not itching or burning and I don't find it oily either. I just ordered the clarifying because I do tend to have oily scalp so I want to give it a try. I also have issues with strong perfume smells. I cannot stand overly perfumed products and I find the scent of the moisturizing version very pleasant. A little flowery and a little sweet but very nice. I'm so happy I gave this product a try.

This is a very nice set to reduce frizzies and deep clean your hair and scalp. It has a pleasant scent. It leaves my hair smooth and shiny. The conditioner is quite light (compared to heavy and dense) but does the job nicely. My new fave!

I've been looking for a good shampoo & conditioner that's not crazy expensive and produces good results. I've had this in my cart for months going back and forth bc the reviews I've read are split. I have thick wavy hair that is dry towards the ends, but my scalp gets oily and flakey. I am SO happy with the results after using this the past couple of months. I bought the clarify shampoo and conditioner. My hair has never been so soft and shiny before! A lot of times I'll skip conditioner bc it leaves my hair looking oily, but that hasn't been an issue whatsoever with this brand. I'm able to condition every wash finally. The negatives are that I still have a flakey scalp so I have to use a separate shampoo a couple times a week. The scent isn't bad, but it's nothing special either. For the price and results, I'm extremely happy. This is my new favorite set.

Love Monday Haircare products! I tried the smaller size,, shampoo and conditioner I chose Curl Define” and my 18 year old daughter, and I absolutely loved it, so I ordered the smaller size clarifying set of shampoo and conditioner, and the full sized Smoothing shampoo and conditioner. As a retired licensed cosmetologist since 1995, I would absolutely recommend! ♥️👍

I loved the smell of this shampoo + conditioner set. I bought it for the clarifying properties, and it may have worked too well on my fine, full hair. My hair immediately dried out after 1 wash with this. I did end up using it once more, to decide maybe it was just mind over matter, but unfortunately this shampoo and conditioner set is too stripping on my hair. But, it may just be for you!

My daughter is going through “changes of life”…iykyk…and with that, I’ve noticed her hair is becoming oily. I’ve tried a handful of clarifying shampoos/conditioners and nothing has helped. This shampoo was recommended by ChatGPT (I know, don’t judge me) so I figured I’d give it a try. It’s so lovely and has really helped her hair not only stay cleaner but much more untangled! I tried it on my hair as well because I also have oily hair and same thing - much cleaner and manageable. The only thing I don’t love is the scent. The shampoo smells ok but it’s on the light side. The conditioner isn’t as scented and smells a bit more chemically to me. It’s still decent enough though and it won’t turn me away from buying it again and again!

This is the best! Smells so great and the conditioner is fantastic!

Received a set of these when I was in hospital for 3 months. I was pleasantly pleased. Worked wonderfully in my hair. My hair was a horrible, nasty mess (beyond tangled, blood, etc) it removed everything easily and made my hair feel so clean and soft.

Very nice and looks great. Received compliments on my hair and all I did was wash it. I will buy it again.
