If you do not have two keys to begin with (me), you can get this cut as a door key (works great) but it can only be programmed with two original keys.

I picked up two of these and they worked with my 2013 Dodge Sprinter 2500. Tracking down a shop that programs keys is the only slight challenge. Keys were cut with traditional method rather than laser and they work just fine. Great way to save about $200-$300.

this key is the same as the original, i just use for emergency for open the doors, i take it to ACE hardwere to cut it.

Does Not Work with 2006 Sprinter.
Did not work as advertised. There was no chip inside the key-body. As I had had it cut, I could not return it. Wasted my money. DO NOT BUY.

Works just like advertised. Bought it to install an remote starter and alarm I guess you need 2 keys to program the the unit.

we tried different keys, and this is the right key that can be programed at Mercedes dealerships (Dodge dealerships do not have kodes anymore)
