SWATOW INDUSTRIES Round Offroad Lights, 2PCS 90W Round Pod Lights 4" Yellow LED Fog Lights Ditch Pods Bumper Mounts for Wrangler Truck Pickup SUV ATV UTV

Picked up these amber LED fog lights to replace some white LED fog lights since I regularly drive through Tuly fog on the way up to the Sierras. The simple 2 wire installation took under 30 min. Note, my Jeep is pre-wired with auxiliary switches/relays so these lights were perfect, but keep in mind they don't come with a wire harness, switches or relays, so pick those up separately if needed.These are not plastic, but have a solid aluminum housing with heat sinks. The amber LEDs look fantastic on or off and they perform well in the fog while traveling at night. I chose these because a 4" light works well on my bumper. Some of the lights from well known brands are huge and I didn't want large lights blocking the grill/air flow to the radiator. The lights mount with a single bolt using the included bracket. I was able to use an existing bolt in the Jeep bumper, which fit perfectly in the included bracket. The wire gauge does seem a bit on the small side, but then again, LEDs don't draw many amps. I ran them for 10 min and the wires didn't have any perceivable warmth, so they are likely sized correctly for the amperage draw.Very, very happy with the look, quality and performance.

They put off more of a green light than amber. They are bright and seem to have decent housings though. But I would really prefer a much more amber tone. Makes me think they might have used amber LED chips behind an amber lens causing a strong color tone. Their a good build quality and have good output but the color tone kind of annoys me.I will say that the customer service is great as they reached out to try and address the issue also stating they were working on an improved light as well.

Much bigger than anticipated but they work really well for ditch lights like I’m using them for. There solid. The mount is kinda cheap and you could have used proper fitted hardware I understand it is cost effected to skip on the nuts and bolds. Other than that I’m very happy with these lights.

Update (photo added):As I started to determine what hardware I wanted for installation, I noticed a couple things:• The included bolts are generic--no shank on them whatsoever.• Holes for the mount to light housing are different sizes.Ideally:• The main mounting bolt would have a shank of about 5mm.• The mount to light housing would not be an M6 but an M8 with a shank of about 40mm.• The holes for the mount and light housing would match at M8.What I plan to do:• Open up the M6 hole to an M8 hole.• Get all new M8 hardware--preferably in black oxide or SSAdditional info: The included hardware appears to be stainless. Not positive on the lock washers but most, if not all, are SS.Original review:I'm actually excited to get these installed. The construction looks great on these. Wiring is so-so but come with black insulation over black/red wires.Plugged up to see pattern/brightness and they're fine. I believe they'll be bright enough to add contrast as I tested them in a lit garage and the yellow really stood out.I'm a bit disappointed with the hardware. That's the only thing preventing me from installing right away. I'm going to get some different hardware before installing. Well, for a new install, you'll need a relay and a switch. And a fused power source. For replacing existing lighting, they're ready to go.
