My wife hates this thing. I’m fine with that. I’ve used it for both sun and rain. My only caveat is to beware of wind.

Does it's job and cuts my fingers
Does what it's supposed to do, if you're brave enough to touch it. The metal bars connecting the head band all have razor sharp edges. Cut my finger trying to open it first time. The function and idea are great. The metal frame could use some clean up and filing before assembly. Would have given 5 stars if it didn't draw so much blood.

As expected quality is very "made in china", some threads already trying to rip. But the comfort of having both hands available for leash carrying purpose and phone using, is excellent! Great idea and love using it so far!

Hands-free shade
Great hat! The straps that hold the hat on keep my head cool. It’s a good sunblock. I use it when I’m mowing the yard and washing my car, and I have both hands free for my work. I think it would probably work well for fishing, but probably not at the beach.

Held together by literal price tags
It's literally held together with those plastic little things that attach a price tag to clothing. You know the little plastic that you rip right off when removing a price tag from a shirt or something? Yeah about 100 of them to hold it together. Duct tape or tooth floss would have been an upgrade.

Sharp edges
Only used it once so far. Found it value for your money. Did'nt perform well when winds picked up to 20-25 kms. Time will tell how durible it is. So far so good....... (UPDATE) Beware of the rods leading from the head mount to the umbrella they are sharp. I cut my fingers twice on the same day while trying to prevent it flying off in a moderate wind.
