Fantastic product!!! As a heavily “modified” (piercings, tattoos) person that has worked in tattoo shops and done both piercings and tattoos, I feel this product (so far) is almost as good of quality as the tegaderm brand itself! I did dry shave part of my leg before applying the derm on one new tattoo, and my leg broke out terribly from it. So I’m pretty sure that’s my fault, so as long as people don’t do that same dumb mistake I did, they will love it too! The amount of derm you receive for the price is also basically a steal! I have a lot of product left, however I plan on ordering more long before I run out in case the price goes up! Easy to use, and it comes with a sheet of detailed instructions if needed! Definitely recommend!

Used twice. First time around the results were out of this world. My ink looks phenomenal five weeks later. Even if I had a complaint, the price point vs quantity is almost tenfold vs the nearest competitor. So don’t waste your money on a couple 4”x8” patches. I didn’t see a good reason in purchasing a mainstream brand when there’s no additional therapeutic benefit. You don’t want your new tattoo to scab at all. Incubate the ink and “wound” until the body’s immune response has stopped sending natural antibodies to the tattoo area (3-5 days), then remove and follow regular protocol. This helps keep the ink in place and “ooze” out. For clarification, I typically leave the tattoo shop with original/fresh ink, wait about 12 hrs, then I remove the OG wrap/bandage. Next, lightly coat new tattoo with Bacitracin + Zinc, the. apply the 2nd skin and leave it on for 3-5 days. Sometimes it doesn’t stick perfectly, primarily due to user error. Make sure the edges of the wrap are beyond your new ink and so it a stick to fresh/dry skin. If not - it will just come undone and you’ll have to repeat (don’t worry - it usually happens 1-2x).

I sustained chemical burns on the soles of my feet two years ago. If it wasn’t for this product, I don’t know what I’d do. I use it to cover the bottoms of my feet for protection and to keep my skin from drying so bad that it cracks open and sets my healing back. Long story. I tried another brand and it didn’t hold a candle to this product. I came right back. Don’t look any further if you want a good product that doesn’t leave sticky residue when you peel it off. It’s just a blessing to have found.

We had a new tattooist that put this on after a new ink. It healed better and faster. We did not have as much thick hard scabs that peel on thicker heavier lines. We did not take it off and reapply like some say to do. It's for all kinds of skin and tissue injuries for healing. I will be honest it's tough to take off. I would do it under water and stretch and peel it as you take it off. It is worth the pain for a better healing tattoo.

I got this so I could keep doing BJJ while my new piece was healing, worked well to keep it protected. Hurt a bit to take off (not surprising), and would leave some bruising around the edge of where I put it, probably because it adheres to the skin so well. Didn’t damage the tattoo though, I would only put it on for a couple hours of training.

I’ve used a few brands for tattoo aftercare and this is by far the worst. Leaves a miserable layer of sticky residue after removal (yes; I removed it as instructed). Other brands did not leave residue. I opted to buy this as it was a better deal price-wise. Another great example in adulthood that cheaper is not always better!

I would definitely purchase another one of these. This was a great product and really did what I needed it too.
