I like these sharpeners for a number of reasons, mostly because they actually file my pencils without breaking, they catch the shavings, and the bright colors make them easy to spot when I'm working on an area crowded with art supplies

I bought each of my 3 grandkids a colored pencil set for Christmas. These are the sharpeners I got to use with them. Their father reports no problems with them. They are awesome little safety sharpeners that very young children can easily and safely handle.

In about a month the first one broke. The caps do not stay on so well, which defeats the purpose. I wanted these so that things can stay clean, small enough to go with everything else in my child back Pack. They do sharpen well, but it just makes a mess.
