Which is best the best buy 6" nail nippers with barrel spring or 6" nail nippers with double spring? pros and cons please

Double spring is a double leaf spring. It is suitable for those who prefer a more lively 'feel' when they squeeze the clipper handles to cut. Whereas, Barrel Spring offers a more softer feel. Both spring types perform the same function but you get different 'feel'. So this gives you the choice of clipper 'feel'.

Are these really british or german? they look chinese, made with "german" steel. look at the summary ... and yes, it matters.

The information guide that accompanies the clippers indicates that it is "Surgical Grade German Stainless Steel" Nowhere on the guide, nor on the instrument itself, is the phrase "Made in China". I realise that this doesn't mean they were not made in China, however, anything coming out of the Peoples Republic is usually identified by that phrase. Hope this answer helps. John
