OK, so the pictures on the box are a little misleading, but I was very happy with the size and quality of these little bug hotels. My girls have been learning about the environment and mini beasts so these were perfect. I already had some Posca paint pens so the girls used these to decorate the hotels. (I sealed them with some yacht varnish afterwards to help protect them.) We'll be foraging for some sticks, moss etc to fill and then they'll be going out into the garden. Quite sturdy little houses and perfect for our needs without being too expensive. 👍🏻

Good quality boxes. I’d recommend getting a form of sealer if wanting to decorate and use outside

Purchased for granddaughter. Slightly smaller than expected but still functional and fun to build.

I bought this when the Grandchildren were over for family get together. They enjoyed colouring , assembling and looking at kit. It was also a great way to introduce them to bugs, beetles etc. I also ordered some secondhand books about bugs for them to look at and see what tiny things we have around us.

Nice ,but very small , disapointed there is no paints ,

I'm hoping the spiders in the sheltered outdoor porch area will prefer these to the indoors! The scattered terracotta pots are being used - but I sensed they wanted something resembling a home 😀

I bought them for my granddaughters to paint they range in age 14 to 3 they had fun and hung the bug houses outside it's a great busy gift for the kids

Die Häuschen sind gut zu bemalen und ein tolles Geschenk für den Garten oder Balkon! Bin gespannt ob die Insekten einziehen werden. Werden sie gleich nochmal bestellen.

This was perfect for a rainy day craft. We plan to buy some ladybugs and have these little bug houses in the back garden. :)
