I haven't had any issues with any bears since I began carrying this. Admittedly, I've never had to use it, but a test spray did at least show that it sprays..

I attached the holster to the front down-tube on my bicycle, I can easily get it and use it while still pedaling. A dog started chasing me last week, I easily had the spray out and ready, the dog moved on before I needed to spray him. I've heard that dogs can read body language, who knows, maybe my confidence showed up somehow, because as soon as I had the spray out the dog left.

We tested an old can and it blasted a cloud that would for sure give a predator second thoughts at least. We had a can fall over once with the guard off, a little sprayed out, and we were out of the house coughing. People always want a gun, but have you ever seen a dog run low to the ground and fast?! Hard to hit under stress. We always have this when we hike and camp.

Prefect size not to big & not to small, great for waking your dog near the woods or biking on city trails. A little protection in this crazy 🌎 !

Looks solid the only downside I say the holder little tight you have to use both hand to remove other than that it’s great worth it if you’re going hiking
