My Black Russian Terrier male breaks brass clips like a joke. He is 150lbs of pure muscle and he is a wild child at 17 months old. He is trained most of the brass clips he broke were in training. The last one bent and the release went flying off. So, we shall see he is double-collared one to a harness one to his collar.

These sturdy looking and feeling clips are easy to operate and fit our need for a way to clip our dogs to their car harness. Easy to attach both to the dog harness and the strap to the vehicle. Perfect.One concern, only lightly tested at this point, I have for this uniquely operated clip are the “front legs”/release levers (product description calls these ‘buttons’ and pulling them simultaneously toward the base of the clip opens the clip.The concern is, if this clip were on the end of a leash and somehow those levers were both ‘pressed’ back (e.g. the dog chases something into a bush or other area that could accidentally move the levers while the dog is pressing forward), the clip could unexpectedly release. The key here is that both levers would need to be moved at the same time in order for this to happen.In my simple load pull test (clipping a rope in, pulling on the rope in the forward direction and pressing both levers), the clip opened.While odds of this happening may be minimal, or not, in a potentially stressful and unknown situation, this could be a critical factor.A lever cover or other way to block/prevent unintentional lever movement may be a solution.Concern aside, these are easy to use and are exactly what we needed.

These frog clips are well made and have functioned as intended without any issues. I used them to replace the non-swivel frog clips I use with a 1/2 inch climbing rope for leashes. The only issue was that I didn't notice one had a round hole and the other was flattened but the ropes still worked well regardless with them.

I'm confident in their ability to hold up well over time.Attaching these clips to my dog's leash was a breeze, and they offer a secure and strong grip. I love the peace of mind knowing that my furry friend is in good hands (or should I say, good clips) during our walks.While it's still early days, I'm excited about the potential these Frog Clips have in making our daily walks more secure and comfortable. I'll definitely keep an eye on their long-term performance and update if anything changes. As of now, though, it's a solid five stars for these durable and dependable leash clips! 🐾👍

These are really nice clips for dog leashes or accessories! The opening and closing action is smooth and easy, but the clip can't be pulled apart by a strong dog.

I sent these to my Sister who has two small dogs. She said these clips were FABULOUS! They keep the two leashes from getting tangled up and she just loves them!

These are so easy to use and clip on and off quickly with their unique design. I was surprised how well they do even with 70lb and 95lb dogs on the other ends of them. I’m extremely happy I ordered these!
