MCALPINE Kitchen Sink TAP Basket Strainer Waste+ Overflow Gold Effect FBSWPVD

Struggled to find brass wastes and overflows for kitchen sinks, this Fit perfectly for a standard bnq sink, looks great with my lusso stone tap.

Love it hard to find a gold one fab quality

Looked amazing when first fitted but after 2 weeks the gold had worn off. Contacted seller but got no reply

Wanted to replace the waste hardware that came with our sink so that it would match our gold tap. This has done the trick and looks great, removed one star as the connector for the overflow waste is slightly too short and forces the metal part to sit lower than it should.

Hard to find brass waste kits but this did the job.

I am so disappointed with this product, when it arrived and was fitted it looked amazing but after less than 2 weeks some of the brass/gold has already worn off, most noticeable around the plug - I've double sinks so I bought 2 of these and it's happened with both :(

This is why you don’t write reviews once fitted, this has been fitted since July 2021, this is how it looks now… the gold comes off and reveals the silver underneath. Normal cleaning products used, normal dishwashing products used, no hot pans etc etc. Considering this was nearly £50 at the time of buying it’s shocking really, McAlpine is the no.1 plumbing brand when it comes to waste but I’m so disappointed in this product, don’t get me wrong it doesn’t leak and is super easy to fit. I’m hoping this was just a bad batch or a manufacture issue. But this will now need to be replaced and my own time, cost and effort. 1 star, ruins the design of my kitchen.

I really like this but, it had a small patch that was not gold - I had to keep it as my new kitchen was being fitted and I wasn’t going to replace it!

Je suis très déçue, car après apeine deux mois ça change de couleur du doré au chrome !! Alors que je l'ai choisi pour la couleur dorée qui va avec l'ensemble de ma cuisine.
