Used on an outdoor mural
I enjoyed this product a lot. The best way to seal an outdoor mural that uses acrylic (which really on its own is a durable long lasting outdoor paint) is a water based acrylic varnish. It is non yellowing and a little went a long way. This small bottle was used for the mural pictured. The mural was painted on a shed that was partial wood on top and cement on the bottom. I definitely recommend this product. Someone here commented that it ruined their watercolor painting- and well, obviously it would. This is a WATER based sealer so if you are using any water based medium then this is not the varnish for you. Always check what is compatible with your media.

Bad bottle, will update with replacement
Per the item I received I cant rate it well, though I know the product in general is supposed to be decent. I think I just got unlucky and will update my review based on the replacement. The item arrived with dried leakage at the cap and down the front. Upon opening and inspecting it, it was chunky almost like cottage cheese and did not spread as it should. Ordering a replacement. Update1: the replacement bottle I got was also chunky. After digging a little deeper into reviews, it seems like the matte version I keep trying to get is often defective, seems to me most often reported between october through march over multiple years, so I wonder if its a cold issue. Both defective bottles I have are part of the same batch according to their labels (AVM151225 packaged 15/dec/2025). I will try one more time.

Best varnish, worth the money
This varnish was delayed for a few days but well worth it. The matte finish is fast drying, feels great and not too shiny for my miniatures. Best varnish I have used, I am very satisfied and will buy again.

Great little bottle of varnish for various odd jobs.
Great little bottle for odd jobs, like re painting berries on Christmas wreath and using this varnish to finish the job great and save me money by not having to buy another wreath.
