Love this little espresso machine! I’ve had the De’Longhi Dedica Arte EC885.BG for a few weeks now and love it. It looks great on the counter and doesn’t take up much space at all, which was a big plus for my kitchen. Using it is really easy, even if you’re not a barista. I was pulling good tasting espresso right away, and the coffee comes out rich and smooth with a nice crema every time. The steam wand is better than I expected too. it froths milk really well for lattes and cappuccinos once you get the hang of it. Overall, this machine feels high quality for the price, super easy to use and not too noisy. Highly recommended

Pretty much the perfect beginner-intermediate machine for the budding coffee aficionado. Gives you all the tools you need to make great coffee, in a sleek and slimline model that fits perfectly on your copy tattoo. Coffee temperature is ideal for good tasting coffee, noise level is akin to an average espresso machine (no issues!) and the price is incredible for the package you get! It has 3 functions - single espresso, double espresso and the steam function, which you have to let it “load” to the correct heat for the steam and then if you want to revert back to espresso you have to open the steam valve and wait for the steam to leave (the lights tell you what to do!” An all round incredible machine!

This is perfect for the person who likes espresso and the milky coffee as well. Took me a while to get the measurements right to produce the perfect espresso. It's alot of trail and loads of errors. I am not that keen on measuring stuff like to do things by feel. So it probably took longer than it should 😂😂. Can't fault the machine. Since I bought this many months ago I have invested in other coffee gadgets.

This 'entry level ' machine is excellent and very good value for money. The dual height facility, choice of fill duration and temperature control produces a fine cup of coffee with excellent flavour and crema Very highly recommended.

I had a much better expresso machine in terms of performance (Sage Dual Boiler £1000) which broke. So I bought the De'Longhi Dedica Arte EC885.​GY so I could make decent coffee. Then I got the Sage back again so could compare them. The De-Longi has a thermal block, without boilers or temperature regulation. It has no re-infusion on the coffee either. These are signifant. I buy freshly roasted coffee and have the Sage Smart Grinder Pro (£250). The same quality beans taste much worse on the De-Longhi, it does not produce a good creme. The variable temperature, without PID, means that it is inconsistent as well. The steam wand on this is a absolute joke. It is very slow, can't even do 2 small milky coffees without resting to recover. Doing several for a group is impossible. I bought two, as the first De Longhi was unreliable and broke after 2 weeks. This one has also gone faulty. My friend has one too and gave up using the steam wand as it is so poor. In summary. for £200 you can at least make coffee and for individual use this works for the money. But is is dreadfully slow, inconsistent and unreliable. You need to spend more money if you want to make many good expressos. However, if you are graduating to this from instant coffee, then this will be a real step-up and for the low cost might suit you for a year before its limitations drive you made!

Today I made this with Dedica Arte and Bottomless portafilter. Dedica Arte is suitable home espresso machine to practice Latte art! Tips of latte art making with this machine.; 1. Use 51 mm bottomless porta filter instead of default one. Default porta filter produces bubbles but not crema for latte art. You can buy 51 mm bottomless porta filter for Dedica Arte at Amazon UK as well. 2. Extract espresso first and steam milk next. Don’t steam milk first and extract coffee next. 3. Use 16g deeply milled coffee beans and extract 10g espresso. You wouldn’t be able to make latte art properly if you don’t follow above.

I needed a new coffee machine as mine was broken. My mother gifted me this one that came along with a nice barista set. What can I say? The machine is beautiful itself and the color is elegant. I love the coffee and compared to my old machine the milk frother works really well. The milk was steaming hot. It's absolutely worth the investment.

FAVOLOSA!!! Cercavo una macchina per il caffè in POLVERE perché mi ero stancato di usare quelle a capsule che ti obbligano a prendere caffè loro! Io che uso solo cose BIOLOGICHE non avevo e non ho mai avuto (e ancora non esiste) questa possibilità con le capsule! Oltre alla rottura di doverle aprire per togliere la polvere e separarla dalla plastica! Ma con quello che costano, mi tocca anche fare lo scassinatore di capsule! Anche NO! In più cercavo una macchinetta compatta che si potesse inserire in piccoli spazi, che magari avesse un design elegante e che avesse la possibilità anche di usare CIALDE (BIO!) e ho trovato questa meraviglia! Oltre a fare il cappuccino con la lancia vapore, Sono rimasto anche meravigliato oltre che per i dettagli, anche dei “gadget” compresi nella scatola! Ovvero: Bricco in metallo per il latte! Tampone per schiacciare la polvere di caffè (molto professionale e tosto!) Misurini per il caffè! Filtro per cialde Filtro per 1 tazza Filtro per 2 tazze Arnese di pulizia per la lancia vapore E DECALCIFICANTE DeLonghi! La macchina si presenta molto stabile e ben costruita, con una linea sofisticata ed è elegante e stretta per essere posizionata in spazi piccoli! Devo dire molto bella e ottimo il caffè che esce! Io ho aggiunto un piccolo cassetto raccogli polvere usate (dove si sbatte il porta filtro) e l’angolo caffè é davvero completo e bello da vedere! Consiglio vivamente! Anche per evitare il consumo di capsule che la maggior parte della gente (se non tutti) butta nel pattume indifferenziato senza remore e non dividendo la plastica dalle polveri, ma che comprendo vista l’enorme difficoltà nel farlo! Bello anche il portatazze nella parte superiore ma scordatevi che possa scaldarle! Anche perché dopo poco tempo di inutilizzo la macchina si spegne da sola.
