I love liquorice toffee. And these are my favourite. Nice and chewy. And the jar works out much better value than the bags at the supermarket

These toffee are good quality, very tasty, very good for the price, very chewable, the texture is excellent, the size is just right

Lovely flavour

I buy these toffees often for my grandad after difficulty finding them in physical stores. He loves them. The tub is large, sturdy and full with the sweets that last him ages. Always a repeat customer here. Would be great for gifting too.

Lovely sweets, well packed and delivered earlier than scheduled. Have bought before as good value and will buy again.

Normally I would score these 5 stars. But some of the sweets this time have a strange taste. Some don’t taste of liquorice at all. A bit disappointing.

Lovely chewy liquorice toffee in a jar and large enough size to keep me eating for several months.it was a spur of the moment decision to buy and not sure i would buy again.I saw it advertised and decided to try it so i did.Dont regret the purchase but a mite bit expensive to buy regularlyGlad i did buy and still have half jar left to finish..only eat 1 or 3 pcs at a time..my dentist cracks down on eating too much sugary treats if i want teeth and gums to survive..

As a teen I was introduced to the wonderful world of Callard and Bowsers licorice toffees (and their butterscotch toffees as well). They were creamy and delicious and different from any other licorice I'd ever had. They were ever so addicting. In the 90s the company was sold and sadly in the aughts their flagship licorice toffee (as well as the butterscotch) was phased out. I'd like to meet the execs who thought that was a good idea.So my search was on for a licorice toffee that could satisfy the Callard and Bowser itch. I tried so many and was about to give up when I read someone's review here on Amazon about these walker's confections. That reviewer too had been searching for a replacement for their beloved Callards and they believed these came close. and.they.do!!! These are magnificent, craveable and addicting. I don't have and Callard and Bowsers to compare them to straight up but I can nevertheless say that my search is over. It has been a few years now since I purchased my first jar and I have yet to be disappointed. Creamy, mellow and with a perfect balance of licorice. Not too chewy. Not too hard. I've now turned so many people onto these. Even folks who claim not to live licorice seem to like these flavorful little pillows of goodness :)BOTTOM LINE: if you like mellow licorice these strike the perfect balance of flavor and texture. They're not too sweet and not salty.Callard and Bowsers if you're out there somewhere I DO miss you and your perfect little box of licorice treasures. But these Walker's make me miss you a lot less.
