Hello there, No, model MO40B00 is a tool only model and does not include a battery or a charger. Model MO40B00 is ideal for our existing customers who already own a battery and charger in that line and want to expand their tool collection without the added cost of a battery and charger. If 2 batteries are installed does it drain both at the same time or switch to the second one ?

It uses only 1 battery at a time. Additional batteries will add to runtime.

What are the measurements of the vertical storage (depth required)?

Dimensions when folded: 22 x 32 x 17 inches.

can you use a 40V 6.0 Ah battery with the mower?

I can't speak with 100% certainty, but I was told that as long as one used a 40V battery one would be fine.
