Zelda Ocarina 12 Hole Alto C with Song Book,Gift for Zelda Fans Blue

This ocarina is SO beautiful! It’s heavy and sturdy. The sound quality is amazing. I really like this and can’t wait to start learning.

Beautiful ocarina. Beautiful tone. My Zelda player loves it and is picking up how to play it fast. The neck paint was not as bold as the advertisement pictures. The hand stand is difficult to use.

I have 20+ years playing ocarinas and 10+ years teaching the instrument. I bought one of these for the purpose of testing the tuning and playability so I could share my findings with the online community. This ocarina is one of the best selling beginner ocarinas on Amazon, but I noticed there are many reviews saying it plays out of tune, while other customers report a positive experience.Using a tuner, I discovered that the ocarina I received plays in B Major, not C Major. If you try to use extra breath to force it to play in C, it will sound very out of tune and raspy. If you use the right amount of breath (playing in B), the tone is very nice throughout the entire range. I was able to get the lowest notes with the sub holes in tune pretty easily, and with a little extra back pressure, the highest notes sounded clear too.If you intend to play music with others or perform with accompaniment, it would probably be better to get an instrument that, in addition to having a nice tone, is also concert tuned, such as the Night by Noble plastic in C. Technically, you can play in any key, because the ocarina is fully chromatic, but a B Major tuning isn’t convenient most of the time.If you’re planning to play by yourself, the key doesn’t matter so much, so you’ll probably like it just fine. The book that comes with it has quite a few songs from the Zelda games and is easy to follow since it includes both tabs and standard notation.

The stand doesn't work but other than that it’s a beautiful ocarina and the book is really easy to read and understand. Even came with a little carrying case. Really good value for what your paying, 10/10 will suggest just maybe pay the few bucks extra for the better stand if you want to display as is

Bought as a gift for my nephew . He loves it .

It’s cute , but the sound is off. And the paint job could be better. Also the stand doesn’t work. But overall the song book is cute, the instrument is beginner friendly. It’s a good quality ocarina it’s just not an alto C maybe not for intermediate musicians.

9-y-old dropped and broke within a week.

So much fun to use and the song book that comes with it is great for beginners! You can plenty of free songs to learn online!

Notes are all off key.

Era un regalo y gustó mucho tal y como se muestra en la foto, suena bien cuando prácticas un poco.

Prodotto rispondente alla descrizione. Ottimo materiale, colore vivido e lucido, meraviglioso il suono. Non poteva mancare nella mia collezzio e dei gadget della saga di The Legend of Zelda

Love it. Guide is easy to understand. Stand is nice and it comes with a case and string so you can wear it around your neck. Its thick and heavy, made with some type of pot. The holder is a myth though. There is now way of balancing the ocarina on the hand it comes with. A shame but still amazed

Funciona perfeitamente e a qualidade é muito boa, só precisa de paciência para aprender
