Glassic Gifts® Easy Read Hanging Galileo Thermometer (28" Tall)

I don't write positive reviews much any more because there are so many fake ones on Amazon. But I had to say some good things about this seller. The thermometer was very well packaged, with the outer box clearly labelled "fluid and glass," and robust but easily opened interior packaging. There were clear, helpful instructions about making sure that there was no damage to the floats.I bought this thermometer to replace an elderly outdoor Galileo thermometer with hanging temperature tags, because all the greens had faded. It is very easy to read the temperature through a window (much better than the tags) and it was within 2 degrees of a digital thermometer after about 2 hours. It's 90 degrees here now, so I can't comment on accuracy at the "blue" end of the scale but I don't have any reason to doubt it.The color scale is also very well chosen with a good gradation from dark blue to orange. I don't like the fake-looking hot pink and neon float colors that some Galileo thermometers use. The float glass itself is colored, so no concerns about fading!All in all, this thermometer is more than worth the slightly higher price.

Picked up this thermometer as a cool discussion piece to put in our backyard, within view of our windows. Thermometer came well packaged for shipping and arrived in pristine condition. Instructions were great and thermometer was easy to assemble. I hung it from a hook in our living room to confirm it works before I find a nice place for it outside the window. It acclimated to our living room quickly and reads within a degree or so of what I measured ambient temperature to be with an infrared thermometer. The markings are easy to read and it seems like a quality piece. I look forward to finding it a final home in our backyard.

I have seen smaller versions of these but they would aesthetically fit my area. This is quite large and works well, looks great and was impeccably packed. Great instructions as well. Highly Reccomended

Looks stunning, especially when it captures the light. Packed well, and easy set up. Compared to others we've had, this one makes it much easier to read, even from a distance.

Super happy with this Galileo thermometer. Installed on our deck where you can easily see and read it through our kitchen window. Is a conversation piece every time we entertain outside. We’ll built and sturdy, looks gorgeous!

This is a really nice gift for any weather loving folks out there. The glass is more substantial than I imagined and the color of the orbs is great. We have had fun moving this around the house in different lighting and temperatures to see how it works. It’s nice in a home office!!
