I have a dual PC setup. (A gaming PC and a mini PC for working) and in order to avoid switching cables or having multiple keyboards, mice and so on, and since desk space is somewhat limited, I decided to order myself this device.Although I feel like I am probably not using it to its full potential, it’s saved me money on buying additional peripherals and it also saves me space on my desk and it works perfectly for my needs.The build quality is solid, it hasn’t overheated and it feels robust.It has a manual switch button on the front and also a pc switch which is really convenient as Ive situated the device towards the back.The transfer rates are perfect for gaming and I’ve not experienced any lag and so the connection feels both smooth and stable.I would definitely recommend it and hope you find my review helpful.

Nice, simple, effective piece of kit. Easy to set-up and switches pretty seamlessley berween screens and peripherals. Only issues are the USB ports can be a little loose, had some connection drop-outs of my webcam but nothing major. Switching sometimes doesn't transfer the peripherals but works fine 95% of the time.

This CMSTEDCD 8K@60Hz USB 3.0 KVM Switch has allowed me to swap between my 2 computers on 1 monitor while using the same mouse & keyboard. It is very handy, as I have 1 computer for work and another for personal use, so I can easily access my personal computer once I'm through with my work. Data transfer is more reliable and quicker than using a regular USB as well. The main adapter sits comfortably on top of my computer, while the button is a small little thing on my desk, which ensures it does get in my way or take up much space on my desk. Additionally, unlike my previous 4K switch, this one has fantastic 8K resolution. Overall, it's a very handy device, a pretty good quality and a decent price. Would recommend!

This switch unit works very well although lately it stopped switching between pc and Xbox every time pressed , and has now stopped working altogether ! Having to use switch on unit ! Seems the remote switch has stopped working ! Other than that all ok ,Now into second month of use and it has started to drop the key board and mouse out which is very annoying when playing COD and it seems I have to remove the power cord and plug back in to fix it ! Now I’m having to do this every day !! Not very impressed ! I. Shall look for some thing to replace it with that’s more reliable !
