I use on a window sill to draw in cool air and needed something with a thinner profile than standard to fit on a 6 inch ledge. This works as long as you don't use the included plastic feet. There are non-removable smaller plastic protrusions on the bottom of the fan that may inhibit the stability a little depending on how flat and/or wide your surface is. I just put the fan on its side. I liked it so much I bought a second as a back up window ledge fan should anything catastrophic happen to the first and the product becomes discontinued. They are not the most durable fans by any stretch. Just knocking it over can cause the blade to become out of place. Treat with a little more care when handling as you would most other fans of this size.

The front safety grill came in broken right out of the box. However, it works fine and the safety grill damage is minor. It was worth it for how little it cost.

This fan will not survive your kids. This is the second fan that has just stopped working for no reason. Something about this design is flawed and the weak cheap plastic blades bend and get caught, burning out the weak under powered motor. These are not the box fans you remember as a kid. Not a good value or use of your time to buy. Their noisy and the speed is fine but their lightweight which does not help since if it even gets slightly knocked over it'll stop working.

Slim design is perfect for table bedside. Lots of air movement.

This is a sturdy product. The fan blows powerfully. However, it is a bit loud and the attachment stand is flimsy. Great alternative for those who cannot afford an AC unit yet.

It’s pretty cheap so the front portion (in front of the fan) breaks easily. If I turn it up to level 3 it will slide across my wood floor.

Best purchase ever! With temperatures getting hotter every year I decided to start investing in items that would help keep my apartment cooler. We are currently going through a heat wave where I live and my apartment has been sitting at 30 degrees in the late afternoon. Once the sun goes down I pop this in my window and within an hour my place has gone down 4-5 degrees. Has 3 different fan speeds too. Definitely worth the money!

It’s been 30+ Celsius for the past week. Putting this fan in my window at night has helped immensely. It’s smaller than I thought for a box fan but it’s fine.

Broke within 2 weeks of usage. Reached out to Simple Deluxe to get replacement blade / parts but they did nothing but waste my time. Requested a return.
