Surprisingly good
I used these to color backgrounds for wooden holiday ornaments. They worked well. Minimal smearing, fast drying, good color. Easy to tell when the ink is about out, the metallic part fades out and leaves yellow or gray instead of gold or silver. I've used two sets and would order again.

Not Too Bad
I purchased these for use with a classroom bulletin board. These work just as good as the more expensive Sharpie brand I usually buy. I am taking away one star because one of the markers came dry and useless. A good purchase if you need to buy metallic markers in bulk.

Heavy on the ink
These are amazing markers! Just be careful to let your work fully dry on non porous surfaces.

Not fine tipped
These tips don't stay sharp for any amount of time. The color does not cover over black things. They are a waste of money for what I bought them for.

Color great; tip: not so much…
The color and the metallic sheen of these is fantastic. My only complaint is that the fine tip is not actually fine. It’s a bullet tip that is actually wider than a fine Sharpie. I tried but these tips just cannot draw a fine line.

Different tips; different inks?
These pens surprised me. The tips in one package are called fine. They aren’t fine like a pen or even a sharpie. The “fine” is quite thick. The chisel is about 1/8th inch and works well. Using the tip of that gives and even fine line than the fine marker. The thing that most surprised me was that the inks are not the same in the two types of marker tips. Either that or it wasn’t mixed well or something? It says no shaking required so that doesn’t seem to make sense.I did a test with a silver chisel then a gold fine point thinking I was seeing both of the colors and both types of tips. I also colored the tips of a popsicle stick to see how the product went on.Then I decided to try the silver fine tip, and found it was much different in coverage than the chisel tip silver ink was.I put a black sharpie line down and found both the fine tip pen colors were much more opaque. The chisel tips have a more translucent ink that didn’t cover the line like the fine tips did. Well, well. So, all that was an interesting discovery. There are a whole lot of pens here and the price is astonishing for metallic markers. These will be fun to use in many of my crafting projects and knowing about the ink qualities doesn’t make it a problem or anything. These are fun and a good buy. They don’t have an odor so they would be especially good for kids to use.

Great For Labeling and Art
I am an artist but use markers only ocassionally in my art making. I use markers most often for quick labeling. And usually I use black markers. But many times what I am labeling is black. That's where these are particularly useful. Ink flow is excellent. Dry time is longer than what one expects from typical black permanent markers. In fact, after about 20 seconds, what I wrote smeared when I rubbed with my finger (see photo). I would recommend giving these at least 60 seconds to dry - still, that's pretty fast. I've tried these on paper, plastic and metal - all with good results. What I don't know is how these will weather. But I imagine it would take months or even years under harsh conditions to detect significant fading. Also, I am unsure how long each marker will last. But at less than 70¢ each, compared to the name brand which is over twice as much, I believe these to be a great deal!

Good quality.
Goes on smoothly and very opaque. Sort of matte finish, not real shiny.
