HUANUO Lap Desk with 8 Adjustable Angles – Up to 15.6" Laptop, Grey

I love this lap desk. It holds my 15" Dell easily, and I can work with it on my lap for hours with the soft cushions on the bottom. It's way better than having a hot laptop sitting on my thighs. For the people who think the flip up lip is too tall for your wrists, you could always trim it down lower by cutting some off and sand the edge smooth. That was my plan, but I don't find it a big problem as I set the laptop slightly off center to the right where the lip sits between my wrists. With the carry handle and tilt options, this desk is great for the price!

I’ll be honest, when I first pulled this out of the box, I was a little nervous. It felt so lightweight that I immediately thought it was going to be flimsy or tip over the second I put my gear on it. I’m happy to say I was totally wrong. It’s been surprisingly sturdy and is always either on my couch or bed waiting to be used. I use it everyday. I primarily bought this for my 13” iPad Air with the Magic Keyboard. If you use that setup, you know it’s notoriously top-heavy and almost impossible to use on a soft surface like a bed or a sofa without it flipping backward. This desk completely fixed that problem for me. It provides a solid, flat base that keeps the iPad upright and stable while I’m lounging. It also fits my MacBook perfectly when I need to swap over to a "real" computer for a bit. The dual cushions on the bottom are soft and comfortable. Plus, there are plenty of angles to choose from, so I can actually find a height that doesn't leave my neck sore. Pros: • Much more stable than it looks at first glance. • The lip at the bottom actually keeps the Magic Keyboard from sliding off. • Lightweight enough to toss to the side when I’m done. Cons: • It’s definitely plastic, so it doesn’t have a "high-end" feel, but for the price and functionality, I really can’t complain. If you’re a "work from the couch" or "Netflix in bed" person, this is a total win. I’m really glad I took a chance on it!

Pretty good little lap desk. I had purchased what looks to be almost exactly the same lap desk quite a lot of years ago. It definitely is the exact same brand name. I had been very disappointed with that first one. The bean bags attached to the bottom of the old one, had almost no filling in them, so they were totally useless in protecting your legs from the plastic desk and a heavy laptop sitting on them. I should have returned that one immediately. So now skip to the new one. It has had some improvements made. The bean bags underneath it are fairly full of the filler, so it does protect your legs. It works well for what I need it to do. I use it more for puzzle books on my lap than a laptop, but I have used it for laptop as well. It has several settings for the slant of the top. It has a decent sized bar at the bottom to keep books or laptops from sliding off. Has a handle for carrying. It looks decently sturdy. I am much more pleased with this one than I ever was the other one. The other one basically rarely got used unless I put it on top of a pillow, which shouldn't have had to happen. Believe me I read the reviews on this one and was prepared to send it back if it wasn't decent. But I did not send it back and I have been using it almost daily. I am pleased with it and think it's a quite good value for the money.

QUICK UPDATE: I’m changing my review from 4 stars to 5, because I use this every day, and it’s holding up really well. It’s one of those products where I like it so much, I can’t imagine not having it! It takes less than a second to adjust the tilt now that I’ve been using it so long. It holds up my iPad at just the right height, it makes a nice flat platform if I’m eating in the couch, and it’s plenty sturdy enough for writing and coloring. The handle makes it easy to grab. When I first got it, I was a little worried about whether the plastic would break after a lot of use, but so far so good - it’s stronger than I realized. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Original review: I wanted a lap desk that would support me while working on my iPad, writing, and drawing/coloring. I’m pleased to say this is it, and it’s a terrific deal. Let’s talk about sturdiness. I’m left-handed, so I do the thing where I curve my hand around above my writing, to the top of the page. My biggest concern was that the plastic desktop wouldn’t be sturdy enough to handle the pressure of my wrist. However, it is just fine. I’m sure I could break the plastic if I really wanted to, because it’s rigid plastic with some give to it, but it’s plenty strong enough for my needs. I rated it a 4 here because I would love it to be a little thicker, and I feel like if it was treated roughly it could break. And I’m a tough grader. But again…it’s more than strong enough. It’s not flimsy at all. The cushion is quite comfortable, and if I squeeze it, it makes a crunchy sound like bean bag chairs do, so the filling is probably similar. It’s a nice level of padding. The tilt feature is GREAT. I was worried about sturdiness on this, too, since it’s also a piece of rigid plastic, but again, it feels nice and sturdy, and it stays in place securely while on my lap. There’s no clip or anything on the tilt angles, so it pulls right out if you want to change it. The weight of what’s on the desk keeps it in place. For me, that’s a plus. If you want something that locks the tilt into place, this isn’t it, but the grooves are deep, and this isn’t going to move around on you while you are working. Oh, and there is a simple clip holding the desktop flat when it’s not tilted. It’s easy to pull out, but strong enough to keep it in place if you are carrying it by the handle. One more thing I really like - this desk is super light weight! It is easy to grab one handed, using that convenient handle, from wherever I left it. No effort at all. All in all, I’m delighted with this desk, especially at this inexpensive price point.

This little lap desk is perfect for me. I ba e a bigger one with legs and it is too wide for couch use. This one is simple, nice adjustable angle and has pads on the bottom. The pads are soft and comfortable. The entire thing is plastic that I thought would be flimsy, but honestly I use it to relax with my coloring or sticker puzzle books while watching TV. I usually put a pillow under it to bring it closer to my viewing and working range and it works out perfectly. I got it in pink and it's really cute. Idk if I'd trust my laptop on it tho. It doesn't seem strong enough for that. So overall, for my use it's perfect.

Great design and comfortable but it is absolutely 'not' durable. I've only had it for a few weeks and barely used it but today, on one side, there is a small catch that keeps the stand/arm attached to the bottom side when you want to elevate the stand that broke. It makes zero sense that it did that because I'm extremely gentle with the it and have only used the stand maybe 5 times at most. I can still use it but it's no unstable on one side and if the other side breaks, the entire stand is useless to me and I won't be buying this brand again.

Simple is best and this has it: lightweight, comfortable, carry handle and book ledge. I wanted something for two things: hold a book while sitting in a chair, and for that I fold down the ledge. Second, to hold paper or a clipboard so I could set the book down and then write. For that I close the ledge. Addressing a few of the negative reviews: the soft bean bags are of equal height. It seems that in the past they might not have been. The product is plenty sturdy - if it is closing on you while using it (and even pinching fingers??) you must be hammering away on a gaming laptop or something, with the other hand under the platform (?). As far as it being cheap quality - it's made of plastic so it can be lightweight. I have heavy, sturdy stands which are made of wood. They're big and bulky and not suitable for relaxing in a chair and putting them on your lap. Lightweight, thin plastic has use cases, and this is one of them. As for it being hard to open: you press a small tab and the thing opens. It's not difficult, I do it with one hand easily. I you want something that feels like it came out of a luxury furniture store, this ain't it. If you don't want to be seen with something which looks like it could have been found in Walmart, this ain't it. It's made in Vietnam, by the way.

Excellent lap desk, small but big enough for book or tablet, with shelf to hold book in place, soft pillow and best of all, adjustable to get the right angle for reading

I basically used it every day in the past two years. Completed some of my biggest projects on it. It has functioned beyond my expectations. It's a simple desk but it has everything right. Soft cushions, gentle on your body; a block design to prevent your laptop from sliding off; sturdy structure, and, best of all, very light weighted. I gave away two other lap desks before this mainly because they were too heavy on my lap. This one has the perfect weight. I can work for hours and hours without feeling tired. The adjustable angle makes it even more comfortable. The handle part broke a while ago, my fault, for I dropped it to the floor. But that didn't affect anything. I taped the handle and i can still hang it on the wall if I wish to.

This lap desk is very sturdily built and great quality for the price. The beanie cushion things on the underside are really comfy in whatever sitting position you're in, and the grippy fold-out support holds my laptop completely steady.

I am delighted with this product. It's been a joy to use, and it's super lightweight. I used a pillow to prop up my laptop, then bought other lap desks, which I had to return. This one is perfect for my needs in comparison to the other lap desks because of its adjustable angles and the anti-slip edge that rotates out. It's comfortable on the lap and does not get sweaty, either. The finish isn't perfect, and the molding is a bit basic, but it's perfectly utilitarian, and you will forget how it looks once you experience using it—five stars from me.

I spend a lot of time using my (large) ipad to do art, and bending over a desk for hours hurts my back. I spent days going through all the lap desks on amazon, and finally ended on this one. I bought this so I could more comfortably draw on the sofa or bed, and its amazing! The cushion is really comfortable and lightweight, so it doesn't feel like I have a brick on my lap. As mentioned, the cushion isn't removable and its made with felt fabric (easy to stain, hard to remove). The foldable bottom flap has a grip so my ipad doesn't slide around at all. This has 6 adjustable inclines, and when on your lap is quite sturdy. Only gave 4* because the plastic isn't very sturdy, and I can easily see this snapping or contorting under a lot of weight or if you dropped it on a bad angle. Otherwise, this was a great purchase! Would definitely recommend it!
