Listen, I'm not great with computers. I have a Dell G16 (think lower end, or slightly lower end component filled AlienGear laptops, which Dell owns) It came with an Intel Core i7-12700H, Nvidia RTX 3060 6gb, 1tb SSD, and originally came with 2 8gb 4800MHz ddr5 modules for a total of 16gb. It was already pretty damn snappy and all that but I thought oh what the hey. I made sure to watch some youtube videos and read some articles etc prior to my project and I'm glad I did because there was a good 15-20minute period where, had I not known about it, I would have assumed I had broken something or my laptop was not booting for some reason. One of the steps involved in replacing the ram is disconnecting the battery and so I'm assuming it does some kind of complete check and it did eventually boot up just normally and I was very happy to see that I now had 32gb of ram in my system summary.

It is a relatively cheap option, but that does not mean it is inferior. It is just RAM. It works perfectly. By the way, I have been using them for two months, but it seems they will last.

I bought this RAM last October and it is already started to fail. I noticed that when I run certain programs they completely freeze and I have to restart my computer through a hard restart which is bad. My driver's are up to date and my os is up to date as well as my drives bring healthy, it has to be the RAM. I believe it is still under warranty but I don't want to get it from this brand again. I should have read the negative reviews and taken how little people have reviewed this product as a sign not to buy; all this trouble to save maybe 10 dollars? I will not make that mistake again.

I installed his kit into an ACER predator to move it from 16 to 32 GB of ram for gaming purposes. Works fine, installed easily and a good value.

I installed these in my TUF A16 laptop and they have run perfectly, as one would expect. I appreciate the price point for the performance

TL;DR: No proper customer service in India from Silicon Power. Avoid and consider other brands like Crucial, Kingston, or Samsung. Twelve days after buying this RAM, it started crashing my PC. Upon contacting Silicon Power, I learned that they don't have a proper service center in India, instead relying on a third-party system. I sent the RAM back for inspection, only to find out it was indeed faulty. It's been over a week now, and all I get from them is the same frustrating response: "You'll receive an email when the replacement arrives." They've warned it might take a month or more. This has left me in a bind, unable to take on new video editing projects since 16GB of RAM is insufficient for my work. My ongoing projects are suffering due to the lag. Their service is disappointing, and they insist that I wait indefinitely for a replacement. I strongly advise against buying their products. Consider better alternatives like Crucial, Kingston, or Samsung.
