Worked Great On Some Old Plaster
Used these washers with drywall screws to pull a section of plaster back to the studs. The plaster was in tact but loose in about a four foot section. I used a stud finder to locate the position of my screws, but the wood lathe behind the plaster might be enough to hold the screws. These washers keep the screw heads from going right through the plaster. The washers are very thin and have a counter sunk middle that accommodates the screw head. The end result is no damage to the plaster and not much of a raised section to cover with drywall compound. This means it is easy to blend the repair with the surrounding wall. This is a great product!

Plaster washers
I have a 100+ year old house and there are spots the plaster keys have broken off. This allows reattaching the plaster to the lathe without tearing down the plaster. Recommend it highly for those in similar situations.

Very useful for retrofit and repair
Properly used, these provide a nice area as a bearing surface to keep screwheads from popping through. With sound backing to screw into they’ll suck down nice and flat, and can be easily mudded over as they are quite thin. About the same thickness as standard metal corner bead, though quite stiff.

Difficult to find in local hardware
I really like this plaster washers they work really good for plaster cracks, I recommend them

Great for screwing down hardware cloth
Local hardware store was all out of roofing washers so I decided to try these instead. I use them for screwing down hardware cloth in my chicken run, dog pen, etc. They work great and have the advantage over roofing tins (washers) that they are slightly smaller so they don’t stick out over the edges of 2x2s. They’re also nicer looking!

Could be a Versatile Hardware Item!
Hi: These are about the Size of a 25-cent Piece. I'd gotten them partly because I wanted a variety of Curtain Rod Hardware on hand, in case I needed to improvise. I haven't put them to use yet. Cool!
