Very good product. A few more sanding pads would be useful but i did not use a drill for the sanding stage, did it all by hand. You also can’t really see the grit number on some of the pads provided which is slightly annoying, luckily had some wet sanding paper which used with this kit. The polish and the sealer however are fantastic. Really helped finish off the look

Really good product easy to use with good results

Amazing product! I bought a 20 year old Freelander for camping and fishing and the headlights were practically orange due to staining and age. I was going to buy some 2nd hand headlights but for the price, I thought I'd give this a good first as I had nothing to lose. I followed the instructions and was sceptical even to the point when I used the 3000 grit wet and dry sand paper. It had got rid of the discolouration, but it was still very misty, until I used the polish compound! The transformation was instant and amazing, the headlights look brand new now after only 45 mins total effort and just over £12 spent. Couldn't recommend this product highly enough.

After just a few months, I noticed some fogging starting to return, which is disappointing.Limited Protection: While it does a great job initially, I wish the kit offered better long-term protection against UV damage and environmental factors.Overall, the Holts Headlight Restoration Kit provides good results for a temporary fix. If you're looking for a quick solution, it’s worth considering, but be prepared to repeat the process sooner than you might like.

It works well, it is little work, but it has resolved. you should devote more time in the sandpaper, when you finish sanding it should be completely matte. then you tbm spend +- 5min with polishing on each headlamp. I used an electric screw to polish.

Like many owners the headlights on my car were very discoloured & were flagged on the last MOT so I knew I'd have to do something about them. I looked through the kits available on Amazon & the Holts one seemed to have a good quantity of materials & was well priced.You get four grades of wet & dry paper (two pieces of each one) together with a velco drill pad adapter & a foam polishing pad. I'd say that's just about enough for a pair of headlights & I wouldn't buy a set with less. While the lower two grades probably have life left in them the finer two were pretty much worn out when I'd finished.The instructions are ok & there are videos on YT but the one problem was I found nowhere told you how long to use each grade for. Two minutes? Five? Ten? In the end I guess I used each for between five & ten minutes but don't go too mad with the coarser grades as it will take forever to get the scratches out with the finer ones & you'll wear out the paper.The one issue I had was with the buffing pad: after the first headlight was done the blue material on the back of the pad started to pull away when I took the pad off the drill adapter. I had to be very careful to leave enough of it attached so I could use it for the second headlight. I suppose you could re-glue it but at the moment I have lots of polish left but no pad to use it.In summary; the kit worked well, was good value & I'd buy another if I needed to do this again next year but it's pretty much a one shot kit for one pair of headlights.

Did the job would of use the finest sandpaper with lots of water unless you have serious issues. Grinding paste was excellent. 40 min job discovery lights look like new.
