So far, so good. For some reason, I kept putting off getting a chalk line because I didn’t think I really needed one, but I’m glad I finally did. This chalk line has come in handy, allowing me to make straighter cuts with my circular saw, especially the long cuts. It’s really nice to have a solid, straight line all the way across whatever you’re cutting. The chalk bottle did come about halfway full, but I didn’t mind since chalk is relatively cheap to buy. The tip stuck nicely to the plywood I was cutting, and I experienced zero problems while using it.

I only gave it 2 stars because it was cheap and came with chalk for $9. Otherwise 1 star. The chalkline itself is a piece of garbage. Filled it with chalk and reeled it in and the string broke without even using it because its just cheap twisted cotton string and not a good synthetic braid No gearing in it so its very slow to reel back in My opinion is spend $22 and get an aluminum crescent lufkin chalkline

I just needed a straight line for planting trees. I guess this has a few uses.
