I had foot surgery and am non weight bearing for 6 weeks. I have a shower bench but I'm tall so had a hard time getting up with no support. We have glass tile on the walls so bars would crack the tile. This chair is perfect. Easy to get in and out, especially having the arms. I'm able to move the chair in the shower easily. The wheels lock but the chair still moves slightly. We'll worth the cost.

This is really a 4.5 item. It would be nice to have a slightly smaller version for those who are not 6’+. Additionally it would be great to have some seat height adjustment. Despite these shortcomings this chair is great. It doesn’t rust , it is reasonably comfortable , and it makes getting in and out of the shower for an older person easy when two normal people work at getting it over the shower curb. A final note use a seat belt.

This is a really great quality dual function shower chair and commode. I don’t use the commode function as my child is diapered and doesn’t yet understand the concept of independently going to the bathroom on a toilet. But that portion of the product seems like it’s also good quality. The bath chair has a really nice cushion for the butt, my child is still small so I put a thick dish towel down where the seat is so that he is more comfortable. I like the fact that all 4 wheels lock I like that the wheel texture is a little rubbery so it’s not super slippery, it could be a little more rubbery to completely keep the wheels from sliding, but we haven’t had an issue with this. The mesh around the chair is great quality and dries quickly Has a foot rest (kind of) would be cool to put grippers on that part of the chair that short people and kids use as a foot rest so their feet don’t slide off. I like that I can roll my kid into the shower with this and then roll him back out to his room safely. This is great for us

Misleading measurements. Uncomfortable!

The dimensions for width shows 9.2 I questioned the 9.2. That isn't wide enough for me to put my skinny little body on. I even called Medline and that person said she thought the numbers for width and depth were reversed. We purchased and discovered the true dimensions. The height from floor to top of seat is also incorrect on their diagram. THE ACTUAL DIMENSIONS ARE 20 W x 21 D x 23 (floor to top of seat). The height is unusually tall for a medical chair of any kind. It looks like Medline took an existing shower chair that previously had rubber feet and added wheels. That would have been fine if they had cut the legs down a few inches. But this is a too high for most people, especially anyone who doesn't have good strength in their legs.

Fit the purpose, easy to use, lightweight, quality built

Absolutely awesome! Easy to assemble and made it soooo much easier to bathe my 88 yr old mom with dementia. Love it!
