Absolutely delicious. And super good for us, too.I cooked it on the stove top exactly as their directions suggested, and I doubled the recipe. Perfect for four people, and it has a bit of a crunch in the texture, and an excellent value for the money spent. It took 20 minutes to cook, covered on low heat after the initial boil, and the purple color is awesome. It will go with so many things. We served it with chicken and a salad two nights ago.It also has a nice selection of vitamins and minerals, and some protein, as well. 100% whole grain and vegan friendly.Super satisfied and highly recommend!

I found this rice by accident and decided to try it. Made me think of Black Rice usually considered the Healthiest Rice with ingredients not found in most rice's. Jasberry Rice has same ingredient plus more powerful antioxidents than any other. I need all the healthy foods I can get!

Deliciously nutty flavor and vibrant color. Cooks up fluffy and makes every meal feel gourmet. High antioxidant bonus. Just a bit pricey.

I'm about to say something i never imagined I'd be saying, but holy cow this is an interesting and delicious rice. I throw this in my budget rice cooker set for long grain, and in less than an hour of cook time, I have a rice that is an incredibly nutritious complement to nearly any meal, that is also both delicious and affordable! The grain size is perfect, the taste is complex and nutty, and the color is analysis striking. Could not be more satisfied with this rice. I made shrimp scampi tossed with tangy fresh hibiscus flowers for some guests recently, and THE RICE got more comments than the plump, perfectly cooked shrimp.

I have no way to verify how true the antioxidant and health benefit claims of this rice are. This rice is a deep beautiful purple though so it’s not hard at all to believe that the antioxidant level is probably very high. With that said, I would buy this rice for the taste alone even if antioxidants and health benefits were not a part of the equation. It’s hard to describe exactly how this rice tastes but to me it has a very rich and savory taste to it. If you cook this in an Instant Pot it takes a good bit longer to cook than regular rice but it’s more than worth it! Regular rice in an instant pot is cooked under pressure for 3 minutes and then allowed to sit for 10 minutes while the pressure slowly releases. With this rice you cook it under pressure for 25 minutes and then allow it to sit and slowly release the pressure for 10 minutes. So 22 minutes longer to cook this rice. This rice is very sticky when cooked.

Rice tasted great. Purchased in December as a stocking stuffer. Just noticed the expiration date of 2/15/26. Average shelf life is 1-2 years. An expiration date two months from purchase is, I don’t know, BS.

This rice is full of health benefits so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s organic so it would have been my first choice.After rinsing it’s worth soaking the rice in little water for about 20 mins then mix it with some jasmine rice. My ratio is 1/3 cup of purple rice to a cup of jasmine rice. The quality of the grain is amazing and it cooks in about 15 mins if soaked enough. If in a rush I use the pressure cooker.You really need a small amount so it lasts long, definitely worth the money.

I love this rice so much. It's full of flavour and easy to cook. The downside is way too expensive for 500g for family to buy. I will recommend it if one can afford it but will not be buying due to high price tag, but instead look for alternatives out there.

Although they are a bit pricey, this beautiful rice is an eye-opener. Okay, they're not bright purple – but I didn't really expect them to be. However, what I most certainly didn't expect was their unique taste. This is by far the most delicious rice I've ever eaten. You could steam a bowl of it and quite happily eat it on its own – without any salt or soy sauce even. Truly the lord of all rice.

Love this; it has a great, nutty taste, doesn't mush and colour purple is pretty cool!
