Good stuff
I seem to always loose my bike key. But I can remember when my birthday is. These are tough, strong locks. The keyed version might be stronger, I'm not sure, but if you are like me, always trying to find your bike key, this is a good solution.

Lock holder is very unpractical
Seems like the lock is durable and the combination lock is very convenient to use instead of a keybutthe holder for this lock is so unpractical. Starting from installation and ending with constant rattle of the lock against the holder.

Heavy duty lock
Heavy duty lock. This is my first Kryptonite lock but Iām familiar with the brand and their reputation so I jumped on it when I saw it available.Like a lot of people, I have a tendency to lose keys so this combo lock is a blessing. Easy to set my own combo and easy to use.Since I have an ebike, this doesnāt work well for securing to a solid structure because of its size. So I use this as a secondary lock while I use a long heavy duty chain to secure the bike to a solid structure. What Iāve been doing is either securing it through the chainring, or through the rear tire and frame as seen in the photos.. I primarily use it through the rear tire and frame. I figure if someone is able to defeat the chain, they are going to have a hard time getting away since they canāt pedal the bike. I canāt say these are the best uses of this lock, but to me it adds an extra level of security and make someone think twice before trying to steal my bike. I wish it was long enough to wrap around the downtube and through the front tire, but itās not.Overall Iām very happy with how solid the lock is. I carry it in my bike bag with the chain lock. Using this as a secondary lock gives me some peace of mind and hopefully a criminal will decide itās not worth the hassle and move on.

This brand's reputation precedes itself.
I've been using an extremely lazy and honestly easy to defeat bike chain for a long time now, and I am very satisfied with this lock after using it for awhile now. Kryptonite has had a reputation for being a leader in this space and it shows. I have way less intrusive thoughts about what might be happening to my bike outside when I go places now, it's kind of nice. I would definitely buy one of these again if I needed to, or suggest it to anyone looking for a solution.

Heavy Duty Bike Lock
The media could not be loaded. Ā Iāve used Kryptonite locks before, and Iāve really liked them. They do tend to be heavier than other bike locks, but they also tend to offer a bit more protection. This one has a four digit combination that is very simple to set following the instructions that come with the PDF that you can find by scanning the QR code attached to the lock. It also comes with a strap and a mount to attach the lock to the bike so that it will be secure while youāre riding it. What I like about this lock is that it is easy to set up and easy to use and is certainly heavy duty. What I donāt like is that the lock itself is quite heavy, so not something I would want to have on for any kind of long-distance rides. it is also a bit complicated following the instructions for attaching the mount to the bike itself if you want to use it that way. They do offer the ability to register your lock online and then pay a fee in order to get some insurance for your bike in case the lock is ever broken and your bike is stolen. One thing to note is that the instructions do say that you will need to remove the front wheel and put this lock through the frame, your back wheel and your front wheel, and whatever you were attaching it to in order to have them all locked up securely. So that is one downside compared to a longer cable lock that you could run through your front wheel while it is in place. Personally, Iām not that concerned about my front wheel being removed from my bike, so I probably wonāt bother with that unless Iām gonna be leaving the bike for an extended amount of time.
