neat, stylish, and efficient kitchen setup
The magnet is strong, securely holding both large chef’s knives and smaller utensils without slipping. It also works well for other metal tools like scissors or bottle openers.Installation is quick and easy, with all necessary hardware included. Mounting it on the wall took just a few minutes, and it instantly freed up valuable counter space.Unlike bulky knife blocks, this holder keeps everything within easy reach while maintaining a clutter-free kitchen. It’s both functional and visually appealing, making it a great addition to any home.

Because nothing screams “I can cook” like knives floating on a wooden plank.
The HOSHANHO Magnetic Knife Holder is a minimalist masterpiece that says, “I have knives and I want you to see them.” This isn’t just kitchen storage. This is kitchen theatre. One glance at my wall-mounted cutlery and guests know: I julienne with flair and passive aggression. It’s got that extra strong magnet, too. Not “just strong enough” like your willpower when walking past biscuits—but “strong enough to pin a machete to the wall mid-argument.” My knives now cling to this thing like it’s the final rose ceremony and they will not go home. And it’s wood, so it looks warm and rustic, like something Martha Stewart and a Jack the Ripper would both approve of. The 25cm size is perfect: compact enough for small kitchens, yet long enough to imply, “Yes, I do own too many knives. Thank you for noticing.”Installation was easy, which is great because my DIY skills usually result in tears and wall damage. Not this time. I’m now officially organized, intimidating, and possibly the villain in a very well-lit cooking show.Buy this if you want to organize your utensils and send a subtle message to everyone in your life: “I slice onions. What else am I capable of?”

Looks really nice, but maybe not perfect for heavier knives.
This is a really nice looking knife holder, and I believe that it's not too tough on knives, unlike the ones with bare magnetized metal. That said, the magnet(s) inside the wood are generally pretty good but they're not perfect - there are a couple of weakers spots on the strip I have and some of my weightier knives will occasionally slip a little when they're placed on the strip. We're not talking meat cleavers here either - just a Mercer Santoku and Nakiri. My lighter knives however, don't move at all.

Excellent
The problem with these racks that use sticky pads is that after a few days they fall off. I had purchased a very heavy chrome one on here prior to this because it was simply too bulky and heavy and kept falling off so i returned it, so I was hesitant about this for that reason. However this one although still weighty isn't as bulky and sticks much much better. Been up for several weeks now and still solid.

Stylish and functional Knife Holder
This magnetic knife strip is both attractive and practical. The acacia wood complements my kitchen decor, and the magnets securely hold my knives. However, I've noticed that placing and removing knives can leave minor scratches on the wood surface. It's a small cosmetic issue, but worth noting. Overall, a great addition to my kitchen!

If you value your knives, avoid!
TLDR: the knife rack fell off my wall (tiled, using the adhesive strips provided), and damaged my knives. Weak magnets struggled to hold my knives, and weaker adhesive couldn't hack it either.Full review: So I'm all about the best value for money you can get. I was looking to free up some counter space, and not only was this knife holder on offer, but it looked great too (genuinely one of the better looking holders on the market). Alas, a good looking product that doesn't function is as good as a wet blanket. As I've got tiled walls in my kitchen, I went with the adhesive option for mounting the knife rack. I thought I would give it 24 hours after installation before putting my knives on so the adhesive had time to stick. The magnets are very weak, where my knives were sliding down when I first put them on the rack, which indicated that they have small magnets places throughout rather than a strip magnet running across the entire rack. Due to the combination of weakness and size of magnets, it wasn't looking great, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Oddly this was the least of my concerns. I placed all 8 of my good knives on the rack, relatively please with how it looked.Less than 24 hours after placing my knives on the rack I heard a loud bang and clatter, and went down to investigate. I didn't realise what the sound was until I went to cook later that day, and reached for my knife when I noticed that the entire thing had fallen down (see the images). I would have given it 4 stars if it had done the job, but at this point I feel giving it one star is generous.I will be reaching out to Amazon to see what can be done, as I'm annoyed that it's chipped at least one of my knives (as in the image- it's taken the tip off). If something is as cheap as it is, there's likely a reason. And although simple enough to put up, that did not result in the quality I was hoping for. I will be sticking to more reputable brands in future when it comes to the things I care about (sadly like my kitchen knives).

Advise to use screws as it’s heavy.
Lovely it! Bear in mind that’s it’s very heavy so did not want to stick it on. Used the screws.
