Natures Aid MCT Oil contains 52% C8 (caprylic acid), 40% C10 (capric acid) and 8% C12 (lauric acid). You are absolutely correct. It is the C8 and C10 which are most readily used in energy production and the production of ketones, which is why these two fats form the majority of our oil.

What has been done to the cocnut oil to make it not set, like coconut oil in a jar? Has it been modified in any way? Thank you.

This process is carried out using steam, and separates the saturated fats from the coconut oil, allowing us to sell a product which contains only the beneficial Medium Chain Triglycerides.
