Boldify Hairline Powder, Root Touch Up Hair Color Auburn 10g

I absolutely love this hairline powder! It covers my roots so well that you can’t even tell I have any gray coming in. It looks completely natural and blends beautifully with my hair. The best part is that I don’t have to color my hair nearly as often anymore. This stuff is amazing! I highly recommend it!

I’ve tried Toppik before, but I actually prefer this so much more! It does a great job filling in thinner areas along my hairline and makes my hair look fuller without leaving behind that powdery residue or buildup I get with Toppik. I also love that I can use it to fill in my eyebrows, so it’s basically two products in one. It looks natural, is easy to apply, and a little goes a long way. Definitely one of my favorite products for making my hair look thicker!

BOLDIFY IS A GAME CHANGER with one caveat: wish there was FDA approval on this product. I'm a female Asian-American in my 30s, so I have always had fine, thin hair. The worst part for me is this: the skin of scalp shows (no matter how much volume I try to put in my hair by styling/blowdrying), and I feel the fine/thinness is getting more prolific throughout the years!! In photos, my head/hair always has a white spot showing the scalp - which you can see from my first posted photo - plus, I'm also a professional musician so on-stage lights really exacerbate this issue. Throughout many, many years, I've asked hairstylists to part my hair differently and create more volume (layers!), but it never fixed the issue of having my scalp show. Having black hair and a really light-toned scalp is THE WORST. How could I possibly look like a professional? In desperation, I started looking up products on Amazon and came across Bolidify. I've been concerned about putting liquids (i.e. sprays, like the old Bumble & Bumble product I tried over a decade ago) on my scalp because I don't want my skin to absorb toxic chemicals* (more on my slight concern about one of the ingredients below.) When I read that Boldify are actually fibers, I decided to give it a shot. This product's goal of making your hair look thicker WORKS!!! The tiny fibers are dispensed through holes similar to a baby powder dispenser, and my method to apply is simply by holding it at an angle and tapping the bottle. Just a bit of advice: When you "pat it down" as the instructions direct, the fibers will rub off on your fingers, so I just apply by tapping, then use my hair spray (it's a Bed Head hard hold hairspray, which probably IS being absorbed by my scalp, but I'm digressing). The look stays throughout the entire day, and I've even fallen asleep with this product in my hair, and it's still passable the next day. If someone were to very closely examine my scalp (as in, look at my scalp from less than a half a foot away), I'm sure they'd see a tiny bit of strangeness, but no one is ever going to be doing that. As you can see from the second photo, it's very passable. My only hesitation in giving it a full-blown 10 out of 10 is the lack of FDA approval and that it's manufactured in China. One of the ingredients listed (fourth out of five) is DMDM Hydantoin - it's a formaldehyde releaser to combat the growth of bacteria in cosmetic products and I wish it listed how much is in there (according to some research, it is not considered unsafe if there is less than 1% of it in a product). I read that the shampoos by Boldify are FDA approved but want to know why this product isn't approved. Would love a response by Boldify on this matter. All being said, using this product has absolutely boosted my confidence. A few weeks ago, I had a major performance with professional photography taken, and the former issues with my scalp showing were non-existent because I used this. This product is indeed a game changer in covering up the scalp and making your hair look fuller. I WISH I had this product throughout the past ten years. Ever since buying this over a month ago, I've used it daily (I'm not sure how much of it I have left, so I can't say how long this bottle will last/hence, the true value for the money). I highly recommend if you're not worried about the FDA approval.

## This Stuff Is Magic for Growing Out My Silver! 🪄 I have officially decided to take the plunge and **grow out my natural silver hair**, but I had one problem: my stepdaughter’s wedding was coming up and I was NOT ready to have that harsh grow-out line making an appearance in the family photos. 😂 Enter this little container of MAGIC. It was incredibly easy to apply and blended the harsh line between my silver roots and colored hair so much better than I expected. Even better, **it stayed in place until I washed my hair.** No disappearing halfway through the day or leaving me wondering what my roots looked like by the end of the night. A few tips from my experience: **Style your hair FIRST, then apply the powder.** When I first put it on, I noticed it would transfer onto my fingers if I touched my hair too much. Once I let it set, though, I was able to touch and adjust my hair with very minimal transfer. Also, don't panic if you get a little overenthusiastic with the applicator and end up coloring your forehead. 😂 I did. A damp washcloth took it right off my skin with no problem. For anyone growing out gray or silver who wants to soften that awkward line of demarcation without committing to more hair color, this is AMAZING. It gave me exactly what I needed for a special occasion while still letting me continue my silver journey. **Easy to apply, blends beautifully, stays put until shampooed, and washes off the skin easily.** My silver can keep growing... I just don't have to advertise exactly where it starts in every photograph. 😂

This might be the best product i've ever purchased. It got rid of my bald spots perfectly doesn't look fake looks very real. Easy to apply and stays on till you wash your hair. Absolutely, fabulous highly recommend. I'll be buying several more

Oh well. Found this product as it was advertised/claimed as if its better then the powder-like ones you sprinkle over and I wanna say it did disappoint. First of all, I will recommend this still if you have very small spots that shows lack of hair or skin. Like how women get small openings here and there and a touch up would fix. This would be for you. However, if you have a somewhat big open area like the crown that you have to cover, then this is a hard pass. Once you start applying the brush, you have to do single dots of touches all over or you are basically removing where you covered by going over it. After the first spot you touched you basically get no left over fiber on the sponge anymore. Lets not forget that when you touch it, immediately comes off to your hand. I bough a hair fiber lock in spray to somewhat get around that problem. Buy and try at your own risk

I really like the Bodify Hairline Powder! It's an easy and convenient way to fill in sparse areas and make my hairline look fuller in just a few minutes. The dark brown shade blends nicely with my hair and gives a more natural-looking appearance without looking overly heavy or obvious. It's especially helpful for covering small areas of thinning hair or touching up my roots in between color appointments. The powder is easy to apply and gives me more confidence when wearing my hair pulled back or styled away from my face. I also love how portable it is, making it easy to keep in my makeup bag for quick touch-ups throughout the day. Overall, this is a simple, effective product for anyone looking for temporarily add the appearance of fullness or cover visible roots. Great product for the price!

This provides great coverage and hides my scalp. It doesn't flake off but will dirty your fingers if you touch your scalp or scratch your head. Other than that, it won't come off until you wash it out. I've even left it in overnight and it didn't come off on my pillowcase. The downside is that if your hair is shiny or glossy, the powder will dull the parts where you apply, so it may look patchy. I recommend getting the palette first to try different shades before committing to one color.

The product turns out to be smaller than expected but the coverage is good. Not sure about the 48hrs, the longest duration I tried is only 13hrs and it is looking fine. Am satisfied.
