This Boldify Hairline Powder is perfect. I have grey hair but it's totally white in the frontal area. The powder acts as a camouflage at my part and blends in perfectly covering my scalp. My hair looks so mu fuller. No oily residue. Super easy to apply, just rub the sponge on the solid powder and pat it where you see scape. Stays put until I wash it out. I'm thrilled with Boldify Hairline Powder. Container is well designed and compact. It's secure but easy to open.

## This Stuff Is Magic for Growing Out My Silver! 🪄I have officially decided to take the plunge and **grow out my natural silver hair**, but I had one problem: my stepdaughter’s wedding was coming up and I was NOT ready to have that harsh grow-out line making an appearance in the family photos. 😂Enter this little container of MAGIC.It was incredibly easy to apply and blended the harsh line between my silver roots and colored hair so much better than I expected. Even better, **it stayed in place until I washed my hair.** No disappearing halfway through the day or leaving me wondering what my roots looked like by the end of the night.A few tips from my experience:**Style your hair FIRST, then apply the powder.** When I first put it on, I noticed it would transfer onto my fingers if I touched my hair too much. Once I let it set, though, I was able to touch and adjust my hair with very minimal transfer.Also, don't panic if you get a little overenthusiastic with the applicator and end up coloring your forehead. 😂 I did. A damp washcloth took it right off my skin with no problem.For anyone growing out gray or silver who wants to soften that awkward line of demarcation without committing to more hair color, this is AMAZING. It gave me exactly what I needed for a special occasion while still letting me continue my silver journey.**Easy to apply, blends beautifully, stays put until shampooed, and washes off the skin easily.**My silver can keep growing... I just don't have to advertise exactly where it starts in every photograph. 😂

BOLDIFY IS A GAME CHANGER with one caveat: wish there was FDA approval on this product.I'm a female Asian-American in my 30s, so I have always had fine, thin hair. The worst part for me is this: the skin of scalp shows (no matter how much volume I try to put in my hair by styling/blowdrying), and I feel the fine/thinness is getting more prolific throughout the years!! In photos, my head/hair always has a white spot showing the scalp - which you can see from my first posted photo - plus, I'm also a professional musician so on-stage lights really exacerbate this issue. Throughout many, many years, I've asked hairstylists to part my hair differently and create more volume (layers!), but it never fixed the issue of having my scalp show. Having black hair and a really light-toned scalp is THE WORST. How could I possibly look like a professional?In desperation, I started looking up products on Amazon and came across Bolidify. I've been concerned about putting liquids (i.e. sprays, like the old Bumble & Bumble product I tried over a decade ago) on my scalp because I don't want my skin to absorb toxic chemicals* (more on my slight concern about one of the ingredients below.) When I read that Boldify are actually fibers, I decided to give it a shot.This product's goal of making your hair look thicker WORKS!!! The tiny fibers are dispensed through holes similar to a baby powder dispenser, and my method to apply is simply by holding it at an angle and tapping the bottle. Just a bit of advice: When you "pat it down" as the instructions direct, the fibers will rub off on your fingers, so I just apply by tapping, then use my hair spray (it's a Bed Head hard hold hairspray, which probably IS being absorbed by my scalp, but I'm digressing). The look stays throughout the entire day, and I've even fallen asleep with this product in my hair, and it's still passable the next day.If someone were to very closely examine my scalp (as in, look at my scalp from less than a half a foot away), I'm sure they'd see a tiny bit of strangeness, but no one is ever going to be doing that. As you can see from the second photo, it's very passable. My only hesitation in giving it a full-blown 10 out of 10 is the lack of FDA approval and that it's manufactured in China. One of the ingredients listed (fourth out of five) is DMDM Hydantoin - it's a formaldehyde releaser to combat the growth of bacteria in cosmetic products and I wish it listed how much is in there (according to some research, it is not considered unsafe if there is less than 1% of it in a product). I read that the shampoos by Boldify are FDA approved but want to know why this product isn't approved. Would love a response by Boldify on this matter.All being said, using this product has absolutely boosted my confidence. A few weeks ago, I had a major performance with professional photography taken, and the former issues with my scalp showing were non-existent because I used this. This product is indeed a game changer in covering up the scalp and making your hair look fuller. I WISH I had this product throughout the past ten years. Ever since buying this over a month ago, I've used it daily (I'm not sure how much of it I have left, so I can't say how long this bottle will last/hence, the true value for the money). I highly recommend if you're not worried about the FDA approval.

It doesn't regrow hair (and it doesn't claim to), but it does exactly what I hoped it would do. It covers gray roots between color appointments, makes my part look narrower, and reduces the contrast between my scalp and my hair, so my hair looks noticeably fuller.The powder is easy to apply, blends well with my natural color, and looks very natural. It stays in place until I wash my hair, and I haven't noticed any scalp irritation from using it.For anyone with thinning hair, especially if you also have a sensitive scalp, this is a great cosmetic solution while you're working on treating the underlying cause of hair loss. It has helped me feel much more confident on days when my hair isn't cooperating.I'll definitely continue using it between root touch-ups.

As someone with a wider hair part , I worried that it looked unattractive and showed too much of my scalp. This hairline powder is great. The ash color looks natural on the scalp and it blends in well with your hair. You can’t tell that you’ve put a cover powder over your scalp. I also love the way it is packaged. It has a pull off lid over the powder and the sponge fits under the bottom. Easy to open and use. So glad I found this product. I think it makes my hair look great. So pleased with this hair powder.

I bought this to help camouflage a bit of hair loss I’m experiencing. I wear bangs and typically pull some of my hair into a clip and have observed that there is a larger amount of my scalp visible. I pull my hair back as usual, pull out my BOLDIFY Hairline powder puff and just dab it on that area and it truly minimizes the scalp showing thru. I typically then apply hairspray, as usual, to keep my hair neat. I’m not sure if this makes a difference in how long this lasts or not, but the coverage remains until I take my shower the next morning.This product is a little pricey but I’ve had this container for over 6 months and still have plenty of product remaining. I do, however, only need a small amount each day.This does what it says it’s supposed to do and I truly recommend this product.

I have very thick, mid-length hair, but it is naturally a mix of my original black hair, a great deal of salt and pepper hair, and some white hair on top.I bought the black Boldify on the recommendation of my Lyft driver, hoping to add some more dramatic black low lights to the lighter areas of my hair for more balanced look.The product works well, and is easy to apply. However, with the Black color at least, the applicator is tricky to hold and the product itself is messy. I have dropped the applicator several times as there is no handle, knob, or grip option, which means powder gets on my counter and floor. And, because I have a tendency to run my fingers through my hair, it comes off on my hands all the time (I have only applied on dry hair).I wish there were a better way to make it less transferable. The person who recommended it to me said that it never comes off on her sheets, but I’m afraid of that since it comes off so easily on my fingers.So, it’s a good product once applied. It looks natural, is easy to apply and manipulate to varying levels, and allows me to easily apply temporary color, but I don’t see myself buying this regularly. It will be great, though, for special applications when I want a more dramatic look. It might also be better suited to those who need applications nearer to the scalp rather than down the length of hair, too, and I would recommend for anyone I knew who might want better coverage that way.

I love this powder. It is so much easier to apply than the spray. I can’t always get the crown or back of my head. It does come with a sponge applicator. However, get yourself a small makeup brush and use that to get to the roots. It is easier than using the sponge for small areas. I have thinning hair and it works great it covers the scalp. I see why this product has a lot of 5 stars. Well deserved. Price is right compared to others. Highly recommend.

The product turns out to be smaller than expected but the coverage is good. Not sure about the 48hrs, the longest duration I tried is only 13hrs and it is looking fine. Am satisfied.
