Strong and holds my iPad, tablet and even my laptop securely. It folds down so it can be stored away if needed and the height adjustments are what I really wanted. Perfect even for books or anything that may need to be set up for reading or watching without falling out slipping. Ready out of the box to use. No assembly required for this.

As a computer science teacher, I often spend a lot of time in front of a laptop. I struggled to find a shelf that provided the right height and depth for my computer. Then I tried this portable stand. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver, great size for smaller desks, and works like a charm. I am able to adjust the height of the base so my screen is eye level and there is no neck straining taking place. In addition, it is sturdy enough to hold my MacBook in place while I constantly type. Great value

Very sturdy yet easy to adjust. Was weary of buying an adjustable one but am glad I did because it is nice to be able to adjust the pitch and height to my liking. Hasn't sagged or lost position once. Very impressed. Provides good airflow for the computer as well.

I ended up returning this because my laptop bounced as I typed on my desk. I have a smaller adjustable sit/stand desk, so I think the desk itself moves a small amount as a result of typing or bumping it. That caused my laptop to shake while using it. I also didn't like the angle at which my laptop rested, especially when I wasn't using it. Good piece of equipment and it did feel sturdy but just didn't work for my setup.

The finish/look is nice. Hinges are snug so it doesn't sink on its own. Supports a heavy laptop no problem, and the silicone pads work great to keep it in place. It's not loose or wobbly, but it is springy so if the desk shakes, so does the laptop. The adjustability is great, can get the height and angle exactly where I want it. Folds pretty flat to stow away. Really, this is the only one I ever considered on account of looking and working better than the other designs.

Good quality! I'd recommend if you're looking for a laptop stand. I have a 16" laptop that's pretty heavy, and this thing holds it just fine. The silicone pads help it stay in place. It doesn't slip at all. Yes, the joints are stiff, but this is a good thing because they don't move when you don't want them too! I could adjust them just fine! Overall, the metal is high quality and sleek, and for the price, this thing is worth it. Highly recommend.

It is well designed and works very well with my 14 inch MBPro. It's light but sturdy and has a small footprint. If you are one that has a heavy hand (with your palms or push hard with each key stroke) with typing, your laptop will shake a little as you type but I don't find that bothersome to me. When you adjust it to a new position it will stay there. Very good value.

The height this stand offers when fully extended is noticeably more than other options in the price range and supports the screen being as close to eye level as possible, something overlooked in laptop posture but helps greatly with long hours or working remotely (an external keyboard and mouse too). The build quality is excellent in lightweight aluminum unlike so many in plastic, with soft pads to grip the device and rubber feet for a nonslip surface. Most importantly, there's strong tension in the joints that needs firm pressure by hand to adjust, even a heavy laptop won't shift the position. It also collapses to be flat for storage/portability and the cost is reasonable around $30 CAD. I only would liked to have seen a matte black version available too.
