Great piece of kit but quite heavy
Bought the Dabbsson to replace an Allpowers Monster X which died recently. This unit is built like a tank but at 24kg, it's 10kg heavier than my previous and you really feel the extra weight. On the positive side, at 2330Wh it has the greatest capacity I've found, can be controlled by app via wifi/bluetooth and it is very quiet when the inverter is on. I like the fact that you can choose the rate at which the batteries are charged - slow charging can help extend battery lifetime but at over 4500 cycles, this should not be a concern. I used the unit to cook a nice piece steak outside in an air fryer for 30 mins (1500 watts on and off) and there was 75% power remaining. Two minor negatives so far : USB PD is out only and I'm not sure how durable the flaps will prove to be. Glad I waited for this unit and didn't buy an Aferiy/VDL/Jackery unit.

Lots to like.........
This review is written after experiencing a competitors product, so may be more of a comparison to the Vtoman 1500x which I returned unserviceable Main Unit Pros 1. Good design and build 2. Display shows input and output separately and even shows AC and other inputs separately 3. Wifi and Bluetooth available 4. Great app to control most features, (see below) 5. Plenty of outputs 6. Flat top to the unit for my cat to sit on 7. Output buttons glow when on 8. Mains charger is built-in so needs only the included cable to charge 9. The cooling fan is VERY quiet 10. 5 year warranty 11. Accepts input from my 3rd party solar panels 12. The USB C ports are marked PD why? Cons 1. Very heavy but aren't they all? 2. Display numerals for recharging time/output time is too small. I cannot see the decimal point 3. Flap covering input connections will not stay open. Needs two hands to connect anything 4. Only 2 AC output sockets App Pros/Cons 1. Very useful for most functions 2. Took me a few attempts to get WiFi connected in a very good coverage area 3. The main ON/OFF control will not operate with any input or output in operation 4. Additionally, turning the unit off with that control is OK, but will not turn it on. 5. The eco mode settings and instructions are confusing 6. The DC input icon is marked PV why?

Solar generator at a decent price
I have been running my DBS2300 + an extra DBS3000B battery pack every day for the last year or so with minimum issues. The system is charged every night on a nightly tariff and during the day I am using a 1.5kwh solar system and overall i can generate 3-4kw from solar. The system is connected to the house via a transfer switch and i can run the entire house continuously. It can cope with the dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and so on. The only issue is that you have to run each of them one at a time. In order to increase the power output Dabbsson offers a parallel connection option with 2 x dbs2300 units and I plan to buy and additional unit. Overall the conversion loss equals to around 1kw per day on average this is excellent so for example from the 5.3kw storage I have I can consume 4.3kw. Very few systems can match this level of efficiency. So far after 360 cycles or more there has been no visible capacity degradation.

I bought a second DBS2300 unit and again it has issues it is a faulty unit.
After some confusion, Dabbsson replaced the faulty DBS2300. The replacement is everything I expected. Great app, definitely going to add a DBS3000 to increase my of grid battery back up storage

The Big Grey Booster
I recently bought my first power station, it's called the Dabbsson beast BDS2300. I also bought two 200w solar panels in hopes we get some sun, and well we have had sun. The panels peaked at 300w input which was more than I expected, I also charged it up over night on economy 7. And I was surprised how fast it charges up, I've been using to charge phones, tablets, and plugged the ninja bbq in it to cook a meal. It's still early days yet as I've only had it a week, but so far I am pleased with my purchase. I am so impressed I would recommend this to anyone, plus I'm ready for the next power cut. I've also bought small power banks for my phone's with built in torches, so if your like me get one quick the price is 😃👍

Big bang for Buck$
Arrived earlier than forecast -(note to self) Well packaged, pretty straightforward charge.. Happy this will suffice for needs. App set-up not so straight forward dispite my years of experience.. managed eventually with a bead on my brow (maybe my phone? IDK) Unit Very pleasing to my eye & comprehensive utility wise. Overall very happy with my purchase & have solar to connect (will update later) If you need a big power station this would be my recommendation. Update: just hooked up the solar, trickle charging nicely.. the app is so good 🌞 Update 16/10/2025.. I just want to say I'll be updating my review on amazon to sing the praises of Dabbsson for your 'Above and beyond' service in rectifying my issue with my DBS 2300 that I had purchased near two years ago. I promise you I will be a returning customer! Very happy & thank you very much.. TM

Ok does work
Its a well built product and does work well. Fast charging is great. However my usb and type c ports stopped working after 4 months and the unit was showing a overload warning. They replaced my unit ...will wait and see what happens with this unit.

Terrible item works but not worth the money
This item fails on every level the picture shows that the capacity of the battery is well below even the worst expectations. One would expect 80% of 2.3kwh on ac yet in multiple tests I have failed to get above 1.4kwh before the battery switches off. The eco switch does nothing at all as ac is off unless switched on physically. The battery drains at about 1% an hour even when no load is attached. I paid 1200 pounds + for an item that has about 55% of it's advertised capacity.

Awesome Battery
I can't express how thrilled I am with my recent purchase of the Dabbsson Portable Power Station! This little powerhouse has completely transformed my experience living completely off-Grid, and I couldn't be happier. First of all, the battery life is simply incredible. I was always concern of running out of juice at the worst possible times, but since I bought Dabbsson Power station those worries are a thing of the past. It holds an impressive charge, keeping my appliances alive and kicking throughout the day and then some! No more frantic trying to conserve energy during cloudy winter days. The build quality of the Dabbsson Battery is also top-notch. It feels solid and durable in my hand, and I'm confident it will withstand the test of time. The sleek and compact design makes it easy to carry in my bag or pocket without adding extra bulk, and the LED indicator lights let me know how much charge is left, so I'm never caught off guard. Another feature I love about the Dabbsson Battery is its fast-charging capability. It quickly replenishes the battery on my devices, saving me valuable time. Plus, I've noticed that it doesn't heat up excessively during charging. The only thing missing is the 30 amp RV out. I wish they would install this. Overall, the Dabbsson Battery has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's reliable, efficient, and has eliminated the frustration of constantly running out of energy especially over the winter months. I can't recommend it enough to anyone in need of a reliable portable power source. Thank you, Dabbsson, for making my life so much easier and more convenient with this fantastic product!

More bang (watts) for the bucks. Two years later review, it is working great
The Dabbsson solar powered generator is still working fine in May 2025, I purchased in 2023. I never had to use it for a full on power outage for days on end yet, but it charges well with the solar panel and holds a charge for many months! I can't compare to Bluetti or EcoFlow or other name brands, because this was my first time ever buying a solar powered generator like this. I bought it for the size and watts, more bang for my bucks.

Fonctionne
