The media could not be loaded.  I'm reviewing the Wireless 4 Camera solution with 1TB internal hard disk.The pack comes with:The base station / power adapter.2 hi-gain Wi-Fi antenna.Optical mouse.Cat 5 cable.Then each camera in its own box has:Waterproof colour/night vision camera.Wall bracket.Hole drilling template / Screws / Raw plugs.Network cable weather proof screw on connector. (not used due to wireless)High gain Wi-Fi antenna.I found the setup to be extremely easy to get a basic system up and running - by this I mean views of the four cameras, and recording to the hard disk.I simply plugged in the base station, and then as I screwed in the antennas into each camera, and plugged it into it's own power adapter - it appeared on the base stations display after a minute, until all 4 were showing.The video recording option was already set, and the "Record" light on the front was blinking.To get internet access to your cameras, or access via your mobile phone, you'll need to connect the base station to your internet box/Wi-Fi/router of your house. It comes with a fairly short (3 feet?) network cable to do this - so you may want to buy a much longer one if it's to be positioned away from your router. You can't connect the device to your home router via Wi-Fi, so the cable is required to do remote viewing.The setup comes as a "Wizard" that steps through the questions that need answering to get you on your router, if you click "Cancel" without setting them up or saying "Don't use", you'll be asked again on next boot - great in case you clicked through a bit quick!The cameras are colored in daylight and black and white in the dark. They come with their own infra-red illumination LED's. They're 1 megapixel, which makes number plates readable at 50 feet,The camera's need professional installation due to the power cables - you'll want to drill the power cable through your wall without making leaks, to wire them up from inside using the provided power adapters.The camera supports motion-detect, and time periods for recording, the hard disk will store months of video before it fills.In the unit I had the hard disk was a well known reliable brand - Seagate, which was very reassuring. They'd not scrimped on quality on items you couldn't immediately see.Please see my video for unboxing AND teardown!

Camera works well but it did disconnect after a month or so, got in touch with after sales at Canavis by Email and they were very helpful. The camera has now reconnected and is working well, has good quality playback and is good value for money and easy to set up..

Good quality & at a good price

I will change this review accordingly. At present the system is set up and working in all aspects other then being able to watch the recordings. The cameras linked in fine, connected to the internet and I can review recordings via my mobile phone but when going into playback mode on the main system it shows no recordings. Have sent message to supplier but 14 hours later am still waiting for a response.Have now had a response telling me to try a few things, like restarting, which I have already done several times and to then change the hard drive if it still fails to work. As it's a brand new unit I will not be changing the hard drive so it looks like I'll be returning it for a refund.Final Update - Customer service is a joke, this is the latest response -"Hello, nice day !Thank your reply.I'm sorry to tell you that our product has no recording function.If you have any more question ,welcome to contact me."The product is now on its way back to AmazonOther things to bear in mind - the aerials on each camera restrict the mounting angle of movement severely. On my unit one of the aerials on the base fell apart when moved, I did manage to clip it back together but it's a very poor and cheap design.

Had this cameras long time still working great in all weathers

The delivery was excellent via Royal Mail. Opened the box yesterday and was impressed by the quality of the instruction manual, much better than with most technology products. Started testing this morning and within an hour the cameras were all working and it was recording. Also, within that time I had installed the App on my Android phone and can view all cameras remotely. I still have to set up some of the more demanding functions, but suffice to say that initial setup and video quality is excellent.

System works well, but is let down by the app. App crashes from time to time and it’s hard to review past footage. Camera quality is good. For the money it’s a good system.
