Leaving 5 stars to counter the low reviews of the people who were surprised a "2x spicy" soup with pictures of flames on the package were spicy. I quite enjoy it going in. I've re-purchased this several times. It is advertised as hot and it is hot. However: If - for any reason - the transit time is less than 6 hours... Your GI tract physically cannot fully neutralize the heat and it will hurt bidirectionally. Be warned.

My favorite noodles of all time by far, the flavor is incredible, heat is amazing, the noodles are delicious. I can't get enough.

This ramen is intensely spicy—but incredibly delicious. Preparation is simple: boil the noodles for about 5 minutes, then mix in the included sauce and seasoning. The instructions say to drain half the water and keep the rest—but I’d recommend going a step further: drain all the noodle water and substitute it with chicken broth if you have it. It adds a much richer, deeper flavor. For an easy upgrade, add shredded store-bought rotisserie chicken—it makes the dish more filling and enhances the overall taste. To elevate it even more, sauté chopped scallions, white mushrooms (or your favorite variety), and spinach in a bit of olive oil and sesame oil. Toss the cooked noodles into the pan, mix in the sauce and powder, and it’s ready to serve. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different vegetables—this ramen is very forgiving and works well with whatever you have on hand. If the spice level is too much, lower the heat and quickly stir in one or two eggs along with a splash of milk—it helps mellow the intensity while adding a creamy texture. Fair warning: this ramen packs serious heat, so give friends and family a heads-up before serving. Definitely not something to sneak up on kids, older adults, or anyone sensitive to spice. But if you love bold, spicy ramen, this one is absolutely worth trying.

This is so good! Not as spicy as I thought it would be, but still pack enough punch for me to enjoy my lunch immensely. I am a frequent Carolina Reaper fan/eater and finding spicy things that are spicy enough for me is difficult. I saw this brought up on a show about spicy food and after trying it, YUM! Very flavorful and quite a bit of kick. I love it!

Awesome ramen. Definitely spicy but not crazy. If you're not into spicy stuff, you will probably think these are crazy spicy though. I think these are a good level of spice to where it satisfies the want for my food to be noice and spiced up, but it's not to the point where it's crazy and it becomes unenjoyable. These noodles are awesome and got me into eating spicy food

Only do the x2 spicy if you can handle it. I love the regular spicy noodles. These ones were too hot to enjoy but the flavor is so good!! Definitely caused an upset belly.

In order of what makes this ramen dope: 1. The noodles are the best ramen noodles I've had. If you cook according to the instructions, you get a hearty, flexible, fantastic noodle. If you don't like the seasoning that comes with it, it's worth the price for the noodles and you can make your own broth. 2. The flavor is on point for me. It's hard to put a finger on, but it slaps differently than other spicy ramen I've tried. It gave me the forehead sweats, made my lips tingle, and made my salivary glands do their thing. It's hot first, then salty, then slightly sweet. I wish it were a little more fishy, though. 3. The possibilities! My first try was just the noodles (again, dope), but the possibilities to elevate the junt are so ripe. Egg, seaweed, sesame seeds, fish sauce, lime, cilantro, onions, scallions, shrimp, bamboo shoots, pork belly, bean sprouts, corn, roast beef...any one of them could bring it to a HNL. Pallet context: I dig spicy. My go-to sauces are in the Dave's Insanity family. Red Hot goes on anything but isn't spicy to me. I've been lucky enough to have been introduced to some amazing Asian flavors (Korean, Chinese, Indian...), but I also know my way around US Southern, German, and Spanish food.

The noodles had a nice flavor and texture to them. It was like 7 dollars which was worth it to me. Super spicy but very yummy and it came fast.
